PHOTOS: BOBA FETT Now Meeting at Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

There are some REALLY interesting people in the Disney parks.

No, we’re not talking about the guests or the random celebrities we spot from time to time — we’re talking about the Disney characters! We’re used to spotting Mickey Mouse and the princesses, and though we love them dearly, we get a little extra excited when we see those “rare” characters out and about. This week, we’re adding to that list with a very cool sighting in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Amidst the excitement from Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim, it was announced that the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett would be coming to Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland! We visited Disneyland recently and got the chance to see him in all his glory!

We spotted Boba Fett roaming around.

But that’s not all — his partner and friend Fennec Shand (who has appeared in multiple Star Wars series on Disney+ recently) is meeting along with him. We spotted them both out and about, scouting the area for threats and saying hello to guests.

They’re both here!

Their costumes look similar to the ones worn during their recent appearances in The Book of Boba Fett. We’ve seen Boba Fett in Disney parks in the past (in Star Wars: Launch Bay and at Star Wars Weekends parades) but his look has seen some significant upgrades since then!

Disney hasn’t shared whether or not this is a permanent character interaction in Galaxy’s Edge, but we’ll be looking forward to seeing these guys on future visits. Also, Disney announced that we can expect to encounter Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu (Baby Yoda) in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge soon. We can’t wait!

Boba Fett

Currently, these characters are just scheduled to appear in Disneyland, but we’ve got our fingers crossed that we could see them in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the future! We’ll let you know if we hear any more updates!
