Disneyland is the home of the iconic, the legendary, and the supreme Monte Cristo Sandwich. Disney World has tried (and somewhat failed) a few times to live up to its famed cheesy, greasy, and delicious reputation — though admittedly they came pretty darn close with Plaza Restaurant’s Monte Cristo for the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
There are a couple of places you’ll find the Monte Cristo Sandwich at Disneyland: most famously at Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square, as well as its dimly lit next-door neighbor, Blue Bayou Restaurant.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicks off THIS Friday, January 14th, and goes all the way until February 21st, 2022.
We’re SO excited to try out all the fun food coming to the festival, as well as watch performances like the Disney on Broadway Concert Series! There will also be a ton of work from various artists all around the park, special photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise. But, we’re not going to lie, one of the things we’re looking forward to the most is trying out the new food booths!
Now that Disney World’s Magical Express service is gone, we’ve been thinking A LOT about the replacement service, Mears Connect.
And although Mears Connect isn’t the ONLY replacement, we asked our readers if you’ve had a chance to use the Mears service yet. And here’s what you told us about their experiences.
The holidays might be long gone (we’re sad to see the delicious eats of Very Merriest After Hours and Festival of the Holidays — but at least we’ve got Festival of the Arts!) but Disney is still keeping the festive spirit going into the new year, especially with the 50th Anniversary celebration still going on!
However, it seems like Disney has decided to literally keep the holidays going with their latest merch. Today we’re taking a look at new holiday merch (yes, you read that right!) at Disney World!
Ok, real talk.
You’re gonna spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on your Disney World hotel, don’t you want to make sure you’re choosing the right one?
To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
COVID-19 numbers are up around the country, including in Florida, where case number records continue to be broken.
The Omicron variant is spreading and causing new travel advisories and testing requirements in certain areas. If you’re traveling to Florida for vacation soon, you should be aware of where you can get tested for COVID-19 in the area.
Hey, we’ve got a secret for you.
Turns out, some of the BEST Disney snacks aren’t in Disney World at all. If you want to get some fantastic treats that you won’t find in Orlando, you’ll have to head to the OG Disney park, because Disneyland’s snack game is next level. But we just found a NEW treat in this park that sort of confuses us. It’s a little bit extra and definitely over-the-top — but does it live up to Disneyland’s great treat reputation? Let’s check it out.

Let’s be honest here — food at Disney World can be expensive.
You can buy a whole meal off of McDonald’s dollar menu sometimes for less than it’ll cost you to buy a box of popcorn. And Disney’s prices are only getting steeper. Recently, we saw literally HUNDREDS of price increases hit a whole bunch of items including popcorn buckets, DOLE Whips, and more. But what do price increases have to do with the Disney Dining Plan? Well, here’s what we’ve seen.
MagicBands are a fun and helpful tool to help you around Disney World. These wristbands can serve as your ticket, hotel key, and payment. And with MagicBand+ on the way and Disneyland getting MagicBands soon, these little bracelets have been on our mind a lot lately.
Today, we’re taking a look at two new MagicBands available to select Disney World guests. Major shoutout to DFB reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Insta) who let us know about these new bands!
