It’s official you guys — Splash Mountain is now permanently closed at Magic Kingdom, making way for the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride in Frontierland.
The ride had its last day yesterday and was marked by LONG wait times as fans flocked to the park to say their goodbyes. But now, just a day later, we’re already seeing some changes in the park!
When we arrived at Magic Kingdom this morning, we found a BIG change on the park map! First of all, it has a new cover with a new photo on the front.
Second of all, it lists Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in lieu of Splash Mountain! The map now has the new ride logo with “coming 2024” written underneath.
We’ve got a year and a half or so before this ride is ready to go, but that means it’s another construction project for us to keep our eyes on! You know we’ll be sharing all the updates with you along the way.
