WARNING: This post can make you BERRY hungry!

The 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially begun at Disneyland Resort and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 25th, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at the Berry Patch booth? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.

Menu

Over at the Berry Patch Booth, you’ll find a variety of available items. This year we are seeing one new food item with one returning and one new drink item!

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the NEW Kenny’s Family Cheesecake. This cheesecake is topped with mixed berry compote and available for $6.50. 

This was actually incredibly delicious, with a creamy and soft filling and a great crust. The berries inside are the perfect combination of tart and sweet. A really nice little dessert!

Next, we tried a returning item — the Blueberry-Buttermilk Pie! This treat is also $6.50, and it’s probably our favorite thing from this booth.

It had a TON of blueberries inside and it was sweet but not overwhelmingly so. The crust on this is yummy as well. Honestly, we recommend getting both the desserts here and taking on the “Berry Patch challenge” as we’ve dubbed it. 😅

But what about the drinks?

Drinks

In terms of drinks on this menu, we decided to check out the Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew. This NEW drink is a Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.® Mexico Origin Coffee, with maple, brown butter & demerara syrup, oat milk, and a blueberry sweet cream (made with cream, oat milk, vanilla syrup, blueberry syrup, and purée). This coffee is garnished with cinnamon-flavored cereal crumble and you can order it for $6.75. 

Honestly, this was a smidge underwhelming. It was fine, but a berry and coffee combo is not the absolute best mix we’ve ever tried. However, it’s not super strong, so if you’re a cold brew fan then it might be worth a try.

So what did we think overall?!

OVERALL

Do NOT miss Berry Patch if you’re looking for some fruity, delicious desserts! We really loved the food we ate here, and the coffee could be a fun experiment if you like to step outside the box with your drinks. This would be a great booth for ending your day at the festival.
