Well, it’s been an exciting week for food in Disney World.
Okay, EVERY week is an exciting week for food in Disney World for us. But this week, we saw a brand new restaurant open, Summer House on the Lake, in Disney Springs, PLUS we ate almost everything from its Cookie Bar. We also kept an eye on all the other restaurants in Disney World and we’ve noted some menu changes.
EPCOT
Le Cellier
Prime Beef Tartare is no longer on the Appetizers menu. Here’s how Entrees have changed:
- REMOVED: Grilled Wild Caught Scallops
- ADDED: Halibut — Leeks, Roasted Onions, Fennel, Onion, Soubise, Crispy Salsify for $47
Here’s how Enhancements changed:
- REMOVED: Maple Whiskey-glazed Brussels Sprouts
- ADDED: Charred Broccolini for $12

Under desserts, the Out of This World description changed from “Pineapple Mousse with Passion Fruit Cosmic Swirl and a Spiced Lime Spaceship garnished with Space Dust and Blood Orange Coulis” to “Chocolate Cake topped with Pineapple-White Chocolate Mousse, Passion Fruit -spiced Lime Spaceship, and a blast of Space Dust and Blood Orange Coulis?
That’s the only change here, though.

The Kid’s menu also changed:

- Hot Dog description changed from “All Beef Hot Dog Served with choice of Waffle Fries or Side of Grapes, and Cuties Mandarin Orange” to “served with a choice of Tater Tots or a side of Grapes. There’s also a Side that’s been added: Papas Rancheras — Crispy “smashed” potatoes, spicy chipotle salsa, cilantro crema, anejo cheese for $8.
Under cocktails, the El Oaxaqueño has been removed, but the menu added Made in Aldama — Espresso made with Oaxaca beans, Nocheluna sotol, Cafeto coffee liquor, LeJay cassis, chocolate Abuelita for $13. There’s also a new Beer: Orange Crush American Wheat for $9.50.
The Mezcal menu also changed:
- REMOVED: Ojo De Tigre espadínm, Gracias a Dios espadín reposado, and Contraluz reposado cristalino
- Montelobos pechuga changed from $28 to $25
- Montelobos Tobala changed from $23 to $27
- ADDED: Dos Hombres espadín — Served with grasshoppers and an orange wedge in a traditional “Veladora” for $18
