The holiday season in Orlando theme parks usually starts pretty early (like a day or two after Halloween).
The holiday decorations are usually up before Halloween is even over. (Yes, really.) The holiday snacks come out, and the holiday parties begin shortly after Halloween. But do you know when the holidays actually END at Orlando theme parks? Well, we’re warning you that it’s SOON.
According to The Orlando Sentinel, holiday events are ending soon at the Orlando theme parks. Let’s take a look!
Disney World
The last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom happened on December 22nd. However, you’ll get to experience the party’s exclusive parade and fireworks through December 29th. Frozen Holiday Surprise, the castle lighting show, will keep going through December 31st. Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay for Jungle Cruise, will be available through January 8th.
Likewise, the last Jollywood Nights party in Disney’s Hollywood Studios was on December 20th. However, the nighttime holiday projects on Tower of Terror last through December 31st.
The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays officially ends on December 30th. This is also the last day you can experience the Living with the Land holiday overlay, the Storytellers in World Showcase, and Voices of Liberty in their Dickensian Caroler costumes.
The Santa Flotilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will float down the Discovery River for the last time on December 24th. However, you’ll still be able to enjoy the Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla through January 1st.
In Disney Springs, the Christmas Tree Stroll is scheduled to stay around through December 30th. However, last year, it was still around in mid-January. Street entertainment in Disney Springs lasts through December 24th, while specialty foods stick around through December 31st at Amorette’s Patisserie and January 1st and 2nd everywhere else.
