When it comes to iconic snacks in Disneyland, several may come to mind, including Mickey beignets, churros, and DOLE Whip.

However, the almighty corn dog is also an iconic Disneyland snack, and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Downtown Disney is one of those dining spots we visit A LOT, especially when they drop NEW corn dogs. Now, Blue Ribbon has been known to play around with unique flavors (we can’t forget the infamous Pickle Corn Dog), and now it’s come out with a brand new corn dog, the Buffalo Chicken and Cheese Corn Dog. So, yes, WE GOT IT.

Yes, the Buffalo Chicken and Cheese Corn Dog has arrived, and we ordered it for $15.50. It’s alternating grilled chicken breast and mozzarella cheese pieces, fried in cornmeal batter and topped with buffalo sauce and red and green onions. Yep, that is…something. To quote our reporter, “Such an interesting corn dog!”

But we were excited to try it because anything buffalo chicken is worth a try, right? Well, we’re happy to report that these flavors work well with this corn dog. The cheese is ooey and gooey (a must, in our book), the buffalo sauce had just the right amount of kick, the veggies were cold and crispy, and the chicken was well-seasoned.

HOWEVER, our one complaint is that the chicken had the texture of boiled chicken, which could bother some folks sensitive to certain textures. We didn’t mind, though, and will be ordering this baby again. So if you’re looking to try something different in Disneyland, head on over to Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs to check it out. We love it when they experiment with flavors and put them into corn dogs.
