If you’re planning to visit Animal Kingdom on March 16th, you might want to steer clear of one very specific spot: the area around the Tree of Life, where It’s Tough to be a Bug! is located. That’s because March 16th marks the last day of showtimes for the long-running attraction before it permanently closes to make way for a brand-new Zootopia show. Let’s talk about why this is happening and what you can do to navigate the chaos.
You just can never escape ride closures in Disneyland. Sometimes, rides go down temporarily for issues. Other times, rides close for routine maintenance.
However, Disneyland Resort has plans to close multiple attractions this spring, including “it’s a small world,” Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, and The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Well, now, it’s time to add ANOTHER ride to the list that will be temporarily closing soon, and it’s another popular one: Indiana Jones Adventure.

According to NPR, Disney, Google, GM, GE, Pepsi, Intel, PayPal, Chipotle, Comcast, 3M, Regeneron, and Philip Morris have either recently deleted or “softened” their DEI language.

Cast Members are the MAGIC!
You may have noticed some Cast Members have gold pins on their name tags. These pins are service pins and indicate how long a Cast Member has worked for the Walt Disney Company. After one year, a Cast Member can earn their one-year pin, followed by their five-year pin, and so on every five years. Once a Cast Member reaches 10 years with the company, they are invited to a special party that only happens once a year.
Celebrities just can’t stay away from Disney World…and, hey, if we were rich and famous, we would be visiting ALL the time, too (well, we DO visit all the time, but we’re also not living it up as VIPs the way they do).
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
We’ve seen a LOT of celebrities in the parks recently. Neil Patrick Harris recently visited EPCOT to narrate the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Candlelight Processional and then spent some time at his favorite bar, La Cava del Tequila. Josh Gad recently visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom and had a great time being a guide on Kilimanjaro Safaris. Well, now, another celebrity, Jason Kelce, has visited Disney World…again.
