Welcome back, friends! It’s time for our monthly Disney World news recap. It was a BUSY month in Disney World! We learned SO much, welcomed back several long-awaited experiences, and got some exciting updates on a few upcoming projects.
What’s new and exciting?
There’s a lot to catch you up on, so let’s get right to it!
You’ve just got $1,000 lying around in a tub you can swim around in, right? Oh, no? Wait, you’re NOT Scrooge McDuck? Ah, well then you (like many of us) probably aren’t willing to invest $1,000 (or any big amount of money) into your Disney World vacation without knowing if it’s worth it. Truly, you shouldn’t spend $5 on a snack if it isn’t worth it!

But what if there was a BIG Disney World perk that came with spending that $1,000…a perk like extra time in the parks with only a limited amount of other guests? Yes, we’re talking about bonus hours in the theme parks with only a limited amount of other people around you. This is what Disney calls Extended Evening Hours. But to get this perk you’ll likely have to spend some BIG bucks. Is it worth it? That’s what we’re going to find out together.
January was busier than expected in Disney World, and February is going to FILLED with new and exciting things!

We’re going to be able to catch a new cavalcade, a new stage show, returning restaurants, and lots more, so let’s get into it!
If there’s ONE thing we know that Disney fans love to know about — it’s when a new pair of Minnie ears drops in the parks!

It’s one souvenir that tends to FLY off the shelves (especially if it’s a popular design) and today we got a remake of an old design that we think is going to be very popular! And let us just say that they’re STUNNING in person.
Walt Disney World has been celebrating its 50th anniversary is spectacular fashion, with a full castle makeover, a ton of new food, and new entertainment.

One of our favorite things that’s been added for the celebrations are the golden 50th character statues across all 4 parks. And, Disney has made it possible for you to take these statues home with you (kind of)! We’ve seen ornament sets of the statues and mini figures available in mystery sets, but now, there are even bigger versions of the statues available!
Disney World is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to cranking out new merchandise and treats! Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Disney proves you wrong. We’re not complaining, though! From the tiniest little additions to the BIG construction updates, it’s always fun to see what’s new in the Magic Kingdom.

We’re in Disney World pretty much ALL the time, so we figured we’d share a little update on what’s new! Let’s take a look at what we found in the Magic Kingdom this week!

There are things coming back that we haven’t seen since before the parks shut down, as well as NEW things happening, and it’s almost time for the sweetest holiday of the year. It’s also a time that’s typically slower than other times of the year and has milder weather, so it’s a great month to visit in! Let’s get into the BEST things to do in Disney World in February.
Disney World has SO many snacks, it can be hard to know what to order! Sometimes, you might see something on the menu and think it looks delicious, only to be let down. Unfortunately, today was one of those days when we did not enjoy our meal today in the Magic Kingdom. What can we say…we were drawn in by the enticing menu photo and tricky 50th Anniversary branding! We’ve all been there.

Disney released a TON of new snacks and desserts for the 50th Anniversary. Some were adorable and delicious; others were not. We’re here to issue a warning to those of you looking for a quick lunch or mid-afternoon snack: don’t make the same mistake we did!
