It’s been quite a rainy day in Disney World today.
Time to leave?
The scene today in Magic Kingdom, under a “Severe Weather Warning,” was definitely ominous (and wet), but still, that wasn’t the most disappointing part of our day. We’ve seen things been abandoned in Disney World before, like Dole Whip and Mickey balloons. But today, we saw something that shook us to our core.
Considering Florida’s nickname is the “Sunshine State,” you might assume that the weather at Disney World is constantly sunny, perfect, and warm…but you’d be mistaken!
A rainy day at Magic Kingdom!
Even outside of hurricane season, the weather at Disney World is notoriously unpredictable, and at times SEVERE. We have the videos and photos from Magic Kingdom when an actual “Severe Weather Warning” was issued for the area.
It’s springtime in Disney World, which means a lot of things, but mostly you can bet that the parks look beautiful right now.

This is especially true at EPCOT, which is currently hosting the International Flower and Garden Festival!

Storm Clouds Over Disney’s Hollywood Studios
It’s not uncommon for guests to find themselves in the middle of a rainy day at Disney World. And while you might be willing to push through the rain, it’s important to be aware of the weather, as sometimes the thunderstorms can get severe. Here’s what you need to know if severe weather is headed your way in Disney World.
We’ve been following the progress of the EPCOT transformation for a while now! That includes the new lighting being attached to Spaceship Earth, the front entrance’s DRAMATIC makeover, and the new fountain that still makes us “ooh” and “ahh.”

We’ve also been following the construction progress of EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime show, Harmonious. All the barges and the giant ring are in place, but when exactly will the show debut?
Although you might be a big fan of collecting all kinds of Disney toys, the nuIMOs plushes are extra special since the posable plushes can be dressed to nines in custom outfits! But…they are expensive. Especially if you start buying mutiple outfits.

Recently, the newest set of nuIMOs arrived allllll the way from the Hundred Acre Wood onto shopDisney. And, now it looks like they’ve decided to take a trip over to Disney World too to greet fans on the shelves!
