Welcome back to another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
While in the park yesterday, we noticed more Rivers of America progress, found some exciting new merchandise, and even spotted a new park map! Let’s dive right in.
Minnie Mouse sure does love greeting her fans like a royal princess!
Maybe that explains why there are TONS of princess-themed Minnie Mouse hats and headbands scattered around the Disney parks and online. You’d need a princess-sized closet to keep all of them in one place! But, it’s time to push aside your newest Minnie hat and make room for another. While we were at Animal Kingdom today, we spotted a new Minnie Princess Hat at Discovery Trading Co.
There are a TON of construction projects going on all of Disney World
We’re talking new restaurants, rides, and even parts of EPCOT’s HUGE nighttime spectacular that are all being worked on. With all of these new things being constructed, we can’t help but wonder what exactly is going on with the Star Wars hotel. The hotel is still slated to open during 2021, but it seems like there’s still a long ways to go before it opens up. Will we be able to go on an intergalactic adventure at the hotel this year? Here’s what we know.
We’ve been hanging out at EPCOT Festival of the Arts this month, but we’ve got another festival on our minds too.
We’re getting excited for the 2021 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival that kicks off on March 3rd! Last year’s Flower and Garden was cut short due to the park closures, so we’re pretty excited for this fest. Now, we know which food booths will be returning — and which WON’T.

Like many people, we were pretty happy to say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021. It’s a brand new year!
And it seems Disney was eagerly anticipating the New Year, too, because the company has made a TON of announcements in the first month of 2021 — like, enough to last us all year! And it’s only JANUARY! And we’re still just getting used to Park Hopping being back at Disney World again!
New treats have arrived at Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure and they are pink and red with hearts all over!
No need to make your way over to Walt Disney World to get in on the Valentine’s Day action. Today, we spotted chocolate, chocolate, and MORE chocolate in Disney California Adventure!
It’s time to start celebrating Mardi Gras at Disney!
In Downtown Disney, we’ve found some new tasty snacks even as other locations are temporarily closing once more. And at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express, we’re already preparing for Mardi Gras with some new seasonal treats!
The situation with eating and drinking in Disney World has been kind of complex.
Until today, Southern California has been under a stay-at-home order for more than a month. During the order, all on-location dining was prohibited in Downtown Disney. Now, the stay-at-home order has been lifted, so we’re checking in on the current dining policy at Disneyland Resort.
We sure hope you’re ready to get WILD!
We popped into Disney World’s wildest park yesterday to make sure YOU are up to date on all the latest updates! So, here’s everything new in food and construction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
