Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far! We’re back with another DFB Video this weekend, and we’re talking about Character Dining in Walt Disney World… because we’ve gone to EVERY Character Meal (so you don’t have to)!
There are a LOT of Character Meals offered in Walt Disney World… and they are, understandably, a HUGE draw! Pairing a meal with a chance to meet several characters without waiting in line… well, what’s not to love? that PizzeRizzo, the muppets-themed counter-service pizza joint in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, was doomed to be a “seasonal” operation…meaning it would only open during the busiest seasons.
After a long closure, it seems that Rizzo the Rat’s restaurant is showing as open again on the Disney World website. But for how long?

Great news (maybe?) if you’re going to be a Disney World hotel guest after Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th!
Disney is extending park hours AND adding more Extra Magic Hour options to alleviate the Galaxy’s Edge crowds that will be flooding the Orlando parks this fall. So…yeah…it’s gonna be CROWDED in Disney World, but at least you can plan to get up really early and maybe not get as lost in the sea of humanity as you would have otherwise.
FYI, Extra Magic Hours are times when the parks are open exclusively for guests staying at resort hotels that offer the Extra Magic Hour benefit — those include the Disney World-owned resort hotels and several good neighbor hotels in the area.
They’re usually only offered at one or two parks per day, but this year, from September 1-November 2, those guests will be able to experience Extra Magic Hours at three Disney World theme parks…EVERY SINGLE DAY.
It’s been a BIG week at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we’re bringing you lots of What’s New from the birthday park! That’s right: Hollywood Studios turned thirty this week! We were on hand for the 30th anniversary celebration.
At the May 1st celebration, Disney unveiled a new logo for the park as part of the festivities. [Read more…]
Just a few days ago we were paying our first visit and eating our way through the menu at the new Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in the Downtown Disney District of Disneyland Resort.
While the experience was a great one overall, Black Tap’s signature CrazyShakes were an absolute highlight. That’s why we’re so excited to let you know that an all-new CrazyShake has taken a spot on the Black Tap menu (both here in Downtown Disney and at Black Tap locations worldwide) starting today! Are you ready for this? It’s the Churro Choco Taco CrazyShake.
