EPCOT has been through quite a few changes recently!

The park is almost done with a massive transformation that included new rides, restaurants, gift shops, and common spaces. Just back in December, we saw World Celebration (the area in the middle of the park) reopen to visitors, but construction in the front areas of the park isn’t quite done yet. And recently, there was another major change!
We see it happen every year. Disney releases some snazzy new merchandise (perhaps a popcorn bucket? maybe a tote bag?), and Disney fans FLOCK to stores to check it out. Speaking of new merchandise, January 12th marks the first official day of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and each new festival brings TONS of popular new souvenirs to Disney World.

We’re just getting started at this year’s festival, but there already seems to be one HOT ticket item. And no — it isn’t a Loungefly bag or a pair of Minnie ears. Wait until you see the new item that is literally flying off the shelves.
If you’re an Annual Passholder looking to get into the parks today, make sure you check out park pass reservations first!

The parks have been seeing some BUSY days recently. Not only have the parks been packed with guests, but most Annual Passholders were blocked out until January 5th. As we gain access back to the parks, it looks like we’re seeing some roadblocks along the way — in the shape of Park Pass Reservations. We know that Park Pass Reservations are gone for date-based tickets, but Annual Passholders still have to abide by Park Pass rules unless it is a good-to-go day or after 2PM. We’ve been keeping an eye on the Park Pass Reservation calendar… and ALL park passes are sold out today — except for ONE park.
Disney just dropped a NEW LEGO set online, and we have a feeling this one is gonna be super popular!

Disney After Hours events are BACK! This time, we’re visiting Magic Kingdom AFTER dark and experiencing low wait times, complimentary snacks, and TWO TIMES the normally scheduled fireworks. Talk about an eventful night!
After Hours
During Magic Kingdom’s three-hour long After Hours event, we’re visiting TONS of attractions and meeting some characters along the way. But one of the things we’re SUPER excited about is Disney’s BIG change. During the After Hours event, you can ride TRON Lightcycle / Run WITHOUT a virtual queue or Lightning Lane (paid FastPass to skip the line). That’s right — we’re using the standby line at TRON for the FIRST TIME!

We talk about Magic Kingdom a LOT around here, but it’s not too often we find ourselves in the park for exclusive hard-ticket events, like Disney After Hours. But like we said, today is SPECIAL!
