LONG-AWAITED changes are coming to a pair of Magic Kingdom icons!
Back in August, Disney made numerous announcements at the 2025 Destination D23 event, touching on every corner of the company from films, television, and — our focus today — their theme parks. In fact, to a 30-year visitor to the Magic Kingdom like myself, the biggest announcements had to do with two changes I’ve been waiting ages for.
It’s time to book your dining reservations!
If you’re going to Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios this year, there’s one sit-down restaurant that brings in all the perfect vibes of the holidays into one meal. These reservations tend to go FAST, so here’s all the details you need to know.
Planning a Disney World trip is tricky enough without having to worry about ride closures.
October is shaping up to be a busy month in the parks, with Halloween season in full swing, special events happening across property, and (unfortunately) a few beloved attractions going down for refurbishment. Some are short-term closures while others are part of bigger, multi-year projects that won’t be back until 2026. Here are the four rides you need to know about before you go and what to ride instead.
Who else is going to Disney World in October?! We know we are!
It’s the spookiest month of the year, and while we’ve been celebrating since August, it’s the last chance to grab limited-time Halloween eats (there were some INCREDIBLE treats this year). But that’s not all — there are new closures, character dining changes, hotel perk updates, and so much more. Check out six major changes hitting Disney World in October!
One of my personal favorite Disney World Resorts is Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Even if you don’t stay at the hotel, you can visit the BoardWalk that has fun entertainment and plenty of food options. As a local, I grab food at the BoardWalk at least once a month (but usually more!).
Unfortunately, there are a lot of changes going on right now that are leading to fewer options. While I’ll be there even if Trattoria al Forno is the only restaurant open, lots of guests might be skipping the BoardWalk starting in November. What exactly is happening there?
While some people may think that the only dress code for a Walt Disney World meal involves mouse ears, that’s far from the truth. In fact, breaking some rules could get you kicked out before you even take a bite!
Disney World has always had dress code policies in place, but in 2025, there are some important rules guests need to be aware of. From what you can (and can’t) wear in the parks to the attire required for dining experiences, Disney has some guidelines that could impact your outfit choices. Let’s break down the dress code rules Disney is actively enforcing this year so you can plan accordingly!
A man robbed Paddlefish, a Disney Springs restaurant, just after midnight on Monday, September 15th.
Paddlefish is right along the water, and according to WFTV9, the man swam up in scuba gear and a wetsuit. He then swam away after stealing somewhere between $10,000-$20,000.
