Rope dropping refers to the actual rope that Cast Members use to hold crowds from entering certain areas of the parks until it officially opens. Each park has its own set of procedures around rope dropping, and what it looks like at each park can vary. At Magic Kingdom, it is now even more important to consider setting those alarms early and being there for rope drop.

To say we were stoked when 1900 Park Fare reopened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is an understatement. There are a few other steps we do to prepare for this meal that we’re willing to bet not everyone else follows. A brand-new construction project has begun at Orlando International Airport (MCO).

In a post on the airport’s official Facebook page, the Orlando Airport announced that construction is underway for a NEW project: moving walkways are coming to Terminal C.
After years of the Main Street Electrical Parade’s departure from Magic Kingdom, a new nighttime parade is on its way!

Disney Starlight is set to debut at Magic Kingdom this summer and we can’t wait. Disney has shared that the parade will be “brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy” from the animated classic, Pinocchio. We know that there will be characters from Encanto, Frozen, and Peter Pan, too, and Disney just revealed a new look at one of the parade floats!

Epic Universe isn’t the only new thing coming to Universal Orlando!

A recently filed permit confirmed that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit would be closed and demolished, and eventually replaced by another attraction. Of course, Universal hasn’t clued us into what this new attraction might be, but it does look like things are quickly moving forward as another permit has been filed for this project.
