What started as an innocent office debate quickly turned into a passionate, heated contest. In fact, we couldn’t settle the debate on our own. So we brought in reinforcements. Over 3,000 reinforcements. With the help of our readers, our McDonald’s debacle was put to rest. A victor was crowned. Tears were shed. Let’s get into it.
Ba Da Ba Ba Bah…
Actually, let’s back up for a moment first. This all started when the new Disney 100th Anniversary Happy Meal collection first launched. McDonald’s announced that it would release 62 Disney-themed Happy Meal toys, and the obsessive Disney collector gene inside us decided to take this as a personal challenge to collect them all. So, we started ordering Happy Meals. Lots, and lots, and lots of Happy Meals. And it got us thinking: when you order McDonald’s, are you team cheeseburger or team chicken nuggets? From there, a debate was born.
Within the four Disney World theme parks, each park has its own identity. Adventurers and explorers can visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, while dreamers and princess-lovers may prefer a trip to the Magic Kingdom. If you love that old Hollywood era, we highly recommend a trip down Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And then there’s EPCOT — the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. But what do these parks look like during the holiday season at Disney World?

Well, so far, we’ve seen holiday decorations appear at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and even Disney’s Hollywood Studios! But as the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival continues, we’re still waiting for some festive flair to end up at EPCOT.
Towel animal plushes, rare Star Wars artwork worth thousands, Disney100 CARS…yeah, we’ve seen some interesting souvenirs in our time. Who could forget the giant crystal Cinderella Castle for sale in the Magic Kingdom? It’s a conversation piece, that’s for sure!
The cost? $250,000.
Yeah, at this point, we’re practically Disney souvenir EXPERTS, so we know a thing or two about oddball merchandise that people can’t stop buying. Where else can a bunch of adults walk around with mouse ears and lightsabers without anyone batting an eye? That’s why we love Disney!

Well, it turns out that Disney fans and Taylor Swift fans have a lot in common! During a recent visit to EPCOT, we noticed some fun friendship bracelets, Disney’s Version, for sale in the Creations Shop. Of course, we immediately thought of the recently reignited friendship bracelet craze, so we had to share an update on what Disney fans have been doing lately.
Ever walked into a gift shop and wondered, “Who is buying this?” Remember that insane crystal Cinderella Castle replica they were selling in Magic Kingdom for $250,000? Or that $15,000 Star Wars artwork available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Yeah, Disney is no stranger to extravagant souvenirs.
Happy 100th Anniversary!
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Disney goes and releases some wild new product. Sure, we’ve seen 100th Anniversary collaborations with Vans, PEZ, and even Hyundai, but buckle up; we just found a GRAND new Disney product collaboration.
The Walt Disney Company has one of the biggest, most passionate fanbases in the world. People tune in to listen to the quarterly earnings calls, spend thousands on Disney World vacations, and even make special trips for Disney’s Destination D23 Fan Events. Need we remind you about the infamous Figment popcorn bucket event of 2022? But the truth is, Disney needs all those fans to stay in business!

In February, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced an immediate restructuring of The Walt Disney Company. In doing so, Disney was reorganized into three segments: Disney Entertainment, ESPN, and Disney Parks, Experience, and Products. The move split ESPN into its own division separate from Disney Entertainment. Since this change, we’ve heard a lot about the future of Disney, and now we have two important updates to share.
