It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Disney World is dressed up to the nines for the holiday season. There are gorgeous displays made out of gingerbread in many of the hotels. There are holiday snacks EVERYWHERE. The shops are full of great ideas for gifts. But we think we may have found the most EPIC gift of all — this one is for your frenemies.
Tons of people are super excited that the Disney Dining Plans are RETURNING in January 2024! And…that’s why we feel a little bit like Sadness from Inside Out when we have to rain on everyone’s parade and remind you of a few not-so-awesome changes that are impacting the Dining Plans when they come back.

But we’d much rather warn you about these issues NOW so that you don’t run into them later on after you’ve already purchased a Dining Plan. So let’s get into all the reasons why you might be disappointed with the “new” (updated) Dining Plans in 2024 (but don’t worry — we’ll be sure to point out all kinds of good things along the way, too!). If you thought we already had it all, you were so wrong, my friend.
We just got the crunch canceling software for our headsets, but if we thought there was nothing left for Doritos to give us, we were wildly mistaken. The triangle, cheesy chips brand is a top competitor for our snack cravings. We may eat them gaming, watching football, or making taco salad. But the one thing Doritos knew we all needed was cheese-flavored alcohol. (WHAAATT?)
Watch out, fast food chains — Taco Bell is COMING for you!

McDonald’s had us reeling over its recent releases of Crocs and nostalgic Happy Meal toys while Starbucks has been announcing new wintertime deals and even released a whole lineup of drinks to celebrate Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour at Disney Springs. Now we’ve got another fast food restaurant that’s hoping its latest menu additions make you think twice about stopping anywhere else! [Read more…]
Tis the season for eating WAY too many sweets!
We’ve been all over Disney World and Disneyland Resort trying out snacks, from gingerbread treats at the impressive hotel displays to exclusive eats at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. But there’s a Disneyland snack we haven’t talked about yet, and we’re here to share a FULL review!
We’re all about celebrating the little things in life.
These days, it’s almost a must. So, imagine how excited we were to find that a NEW Adult Happy Meal was going to be rolled out at McDonald’s that would feature an iconic Happy Meal Toy! Well, folks, the day has finally come — so let’s dig in and get a first look!
We went on a Disney cruise recently, where we learned something really cool about DOLE Whip!

Pineapple Dole Whip
DOLE Whip is an iconic treat in the Disney theme parks. At Disney World, we usually head to Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom or Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to get the tasty, tropical soft-serve treat. At Disneyland, The Tropical Hideaway is our go-to. You can find DOLE Whip on the Disney Cruise Line ships, but there’s one place you might be able to visit during your cruise that has tons of RARE DOLE Whip flavors! [Read more…]
Who’s ready to open a NEW Disney theme park land?!
On December 20th, 2023, Shanghai Disney Resort will be opening the NEW Zootopia land! Inspired by the movie, you’ll be able to visit snack spots like Jumbeaux’s Cafe and Zootopia Market, as well as ride Zootopia: Hot Pursuit! And if you’re heading out there for a visit (or you’re just curious about all the goodies on the menu), Disney just released the foodie guide to the new land.
How is Christmas just around the corner?!
This year has flown by, and it feels WILD that we’re already nearing the prime of the holiday season. Now that the weather at Disney World has dropped slightly (Yay for temps below 80!), all the holiday decorations are up in the parks, and we’ve experienced the holiday parties, we’ve decided to do some more exploring regarding the fun things you can do WITHOUT a park ticket. One of our favorite holiday activities to do without a Disney World ticket? EAT!
Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.
