You’ll find lots to enjoy in this part of Disneyland. There are dining locations like the new Tiendita, Céntrico, and Paseo, as well as stands like Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs and more. You can also shop at some of your favorite stores like Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, The LEGO Store, the Star Wars Trading Post, and more. Downtown Disney has been getting lots of new shops, restaurants, and attractions recently, and we just spotted a cute new candle stand on our last visit!

But for our reporters, and many of the Disney World staff who are there every single day, sometimes you’re just in the mood for some basic fast food. Or, maybe you’ve got a picky kiddo and you don’t want to fight them on what they’ll eat (or if you’re picky yourself!), or are arriving at the resort late and want to grab something with a drive-through. Whatever your reasoning, we get it. However, there is one thing about this McDonald’s we need to warn you about — you might not be expecting it!

Most of this week we’ve been worried about Hurricane Milton, and Disney World even closed briefly as a result. Needless to say, not a lot has happened with Disney World restaurants this week, but we did notice a few minor menu changes. We’re still waiting for that big round of food price increases we usually get this time of year, but for now, let’s just focus on the few updates we have.

This is Halloween!
Yep, we’re smack dab in the middle of Halloween season, and Disney has been celebrating since August. This year, we’ve seen some fun Disney-themed Halloween snacks and merchandise, but what about the DECOR? Well, Mickey pumpkins are everywhere, and if you’re as obsessed as we are, you can grab your own version online.
You never know who you might run into at a Disney park!

Even with tons of people there, you just might run into people you know or even celebrities. Recently, there have been several big-name stars visiting Mickey’s stomping grounds. We’ve seen Lance Bass and his family at Disney World and Henry Winkler at Disneyland within the past month. Since Disneyland is in California, where many of the stars reside, it’s not at all surprising that we spotted a famous socialite hanging with her kids at Disney California Adventure!
There’s no way to sugarcoat it — Disney is pricey! Don’t let that put you off because we’re here to help!

Maybe we forgot to pack our rain gear, even though we know how finicky Florida weather can be. Maybe we forgot to try to get a virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and then all spots are gone and we’ll have to pay for Lightning Lane Single Pass if we want to ride it. We also do a lot of people-watching in Disney World and see how there are some things in Disney World that are so confusing that often throw people off. Well, we’ve got one particular thing in Magic Kingdom to point out that you’ll want to be aware of.
