Disney has experienced its share of controversies over the past years.

Within the parks alone, controversial changes have been made when it comes to rides (removing some and replacing them with new attractions), photos (adding in automated photo boxes at certain PhotoPass locations), and fireworks (removing fan-favorite fireworks shows much to the dismay of those loyal followers). But soon, some hugely controversial things in EPCOT will be going AWAY.

At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney shared that EPCOT’s current fireworks show, Harmonious, would end and be replaced with a NEW nighttime spectacular. But, change doesn’t just happen overnight (okay, actually in Disney World it usually does) and this time we get to reap the benefits! Disney announced that the EPCOT Forever fireworks show is RETURNING to the park and we’ve got all the details!
Breaking news is dropping left and right as Disney has just shared the opening dates for two new shows in Disney World.

Between the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company, new attractions, new restaurants, and more — we’ve been keeping up with it ALL! One big change that Disney announced at the 2022 D23 Expo was that EPCOT’s 50th Anniversary nighttime show, Harmonious, would be ending at some point this year. And now, we officially know when Harmonious will have its LAST performance!

We were so excited to learn that After Hours events would return to Disney World in 2023 and the time has come! These are separately ticketed events that allow a certain amount of guests to explore the park after it closes. We already went to the Hollywood Studios event where we saw what was included in the ticket and the crowds (or lack of crowds) in the park — let’s see what you can expect at the Magic Kingdom events!
