The holidays may just be the BEST time in Disney World.

The decorations are BEAUTIFUL, the trees are HUGE, and the snacks are EVERYWHERE. There’s even an ENTIRE festival surrounding the holiday season, and, yes, we are here for it. But mostly, we’re here for the food. So we’re checking out another holiday snack over at Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Disneyland Resort has its share of holiday traditions that we always love seeing this time of year.

We love attending the Disney California Adventure Festival of the Holidays. We also love seeing the characters in their holiday outfits. We also love all the holiday treats! But one of the most special events during the holidays is the Candlelight Processional — and we were there for the first one of the year!
Disney parks might be some of the Happiest and Most Magical Places on Earth, but that certainly doesn’t mean they’re cheap.
Cinderella Castle
We’ve seen price hikes on merchandise, dining, Genie+, and more, and recently Disney announced new, park-specific pricing would be implemented at Disney World, too. But with a potential recession on the horizon, chances are guests might not be planning as many trips to the parks as Disney would hope. Can they keep attendance up in the face of a recession? History shows they could — and these are the tricks they used to do it the last time around.
Happy Holidays from the West Coast! The snow is on the castle in Disneyland, so it is officially the holiday season (okay, the snow has been on there since BEFORE Halloween, though).

So while we’re buying up some holiday merchandise and sipping on hot cocoa, we’re also eating up ALL the holiday snacks. So we’re headed over to Disney California Adventure to try a new one!
Although Disney World is the most magical place on Earth, sometimes things happen that aren’t so…well…magical.
Sign for when Skyliner goes down
Sometimes rides go down, sometimes we see animatronics that just aren’t working right, sometimes transportation isn’t operating, and sometimes other technology at the parks goes awry. This morning, though, there was a technical glitch with Disney World’s payment system, which is a reminder that you might always want to keep some cash on you when at the resort.
There are SO many new things coming to Disney World that it’s difficult to keep track of everything!
Cake Bake Shop location
We’ve got TWO new attractions coming to the parks (TRON Lightcycle Run and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana). We’ve got several new restaurants on the way, too, including Roundup Rodeo BBQ, as well as The Cake Bake Shop. Speaking of The Cake Bake Shop, we’ve got a BIG update to share with you!
Coming to Disney World is a NEW restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be the newest addition to Toy Story Land, featuring a “barbecue-forward” concept, where guests will be surrounded by Andy’s play sets. We don’t know a whole lot about this new restaurant yet but Disney recently gave us a bit of a sneak preview and here’s what we noticed!
