Big news for fans of fine dining in Disney World!

Takumi-Tei is one of the fanciest restaurants in all of Disney World, especially when it comes to EPCOT. It’s home to some fantastic sushi options, but now there’s a special event happening that sake lovers can’t miss out on, and it’s happening for ONE day only!
Nobody panic, but we are getting a brand new lounge in EPCOT!

While the EPCOT Transformation may be over, two new projects are still coming to the park in 2025. This summer, Test Track 2.0 closed to make way for Test Track 3.0, which will be inspired by the ride’s predecessor, World of Motion. Not only will we be getting a new version of Test Track, but a brand new lounge will open in 2025, and we finally have more details!
EPCOT can be a tricky park to maneuver.

Yes, part of it is because of those massive walls that are still up (but they’re coming down soon! …hopefully), but we’ve said for years that while the park may open at 9AM or 10AM, that doesn’t always mean that’s the best time to EPCOT. We’ve stood by that advice for YEARS but now things are changing in the parks, which means we need to change too.
Annual Passholders get lots of different perks in Disney World along with being able to visit the theme parks pretty much whenever they’d like.

Some of these perks include dining and merchandise discounts at select stores and restaurants around the resort, and special free souvenirs every now and then, just to name a few. Sometimes these discounts change, and we need you to know that a popular restaurant in EPCOT is extending its higher AP discount through 2024!
The newest restaurant in Disney World is now officially OPEN!
Shiki-Sai
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya opened in EPCOT‘s Japan pavilion in World Showcase on August 15th. It’s open for walk-in guests only, but reservations are available now for dates starting on August 28th. We stopped in to try out the new eats here (including the $300 sushi boat! 😳) so we could discover which menu items are worth the cash and which you should skip.
