There are some great restaurants to check out for a nice lunch or dinner (or just eat a giant cookie instead, because why not!), and there is also a TON of shopping! We like to pop on through the area regularly to check out what’s going on, so come with us to see what’s new over in Disney Springs!
Space 220 was a mysterious EPCOT restaurant that put us through YEARS of uncertainty. Okay, that might be a bit dramatic. 😉 But still! It was a project that was delayed over and over until finally opening in September 2021.

It’s only been a few months since this spot opened but it looks like we’re already seeing some pretty substantial updates to the Space 220 menu! There are some additions, removals, and changes. Because they’re celebrating their 30th anniversary! There are all kinds of things going on at the resort for the festivities, like new character costumes, a drone show, a new garden, and more. But, the surprises aren’t stopping, because Disney just announced a whole new transformation happening soon at Disneyland Paris!
Of all the destinations in Disney World, Disney Springs is by far the best place for bargains!

Aside from the simple fact that Disney Springs doesn’t require an admission ticket (or even charge for parking!), there are TONS of affordable things to buy here (by Disney standards at least), including LOTS of budget-friendly snacks!
When you’re taking pictures in Disney World, you want to look your best, right? Well, between the rush back and forth across the parks and Florida’s uncooperative weather, we often end up with some less-than-flattering photos. (Seriously, why didn’t anyone warn us that our hair was THAT frizzy from the humidity?!) And don’t even get us started with the results when dad is in charge of the camera…let’s just say that you can probably expect a finger or two to block the lens.
