In case you haven’t noticed, it’s finally 2021! We spent all day in Disney World today checking out what this New Year has to offer, including the modified return of Park Hopping!
Mickey Balloons
With the holiday season now officially behind us, we wondered what we would see today in terms of the parks returning to “normal,” so to speak. We’ll miss our beloved gingerbread treats and cheerful music, but all good things must come to an end, we suppose!
We’re BACK at the Most Magical Place on Earth. And no, we’re talking about the Magic Kingdom!
Coffee Toffee Cookie at Gideon’s
We’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse. A legitimate cookie haven that serves 1/2 pound cookies the size of your face. We’re in love, we’re in love, and we don’t care who knows it! Ok, we won’t get too ahead of ourselves. They’re good cookies, but we still have a lot to say about them! Today is the first day of the month and that means a NEW cookie was released at Gideon’s. The bakehouse will release limited-time cookies every month for guests to try out. We headed back to CookieLand, USA to review the newest cookie and taste a few more surprise items!
Park hopping is much different than it used to be.

We’ve had some time to get used to the new park hopping system, and feel pretty confident in our ability to…well, park hop! Those who haven’t visited the parks since 2019 may not recognize park hopping, as it’s changed quite a bit. The rules for hopping between parks, or even just getting into the first park of the day, are different. But don’t worry if this is all new to you — we’ll walk you through a day of park hopping!

We were strolling down Main Street today after a day of park hopping adventures when we spotted something a little different about the Mickey balloons floating above us. Are those special celebration balloons we see?!

To wrap up 2020, we took a cruise through all of the Skyliner resorts yesterday to see if we can spot anything NEW. Here are all the updates we found in food, construction, and merchandise!

The Park Hopper ticket option currently allows guests to hop during park hopping hours (after 2PM right now!). We JUST found out that you CAN hop to more than one park each day, and now we know exactly how many you can hop to!
