Disney just announced even more holiday fun, and y’all, if you haven’t grabbed tickets to Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, you might want to check your calendar and buy a set of tickets.

One of my favorite parts of Jollywood Nights last year was meeting all the different characters you can’t normally see around the park. Now, even more have been added, making it a total character palooza.
Okay, things are…well, a lot in Disney’s Hollywood Studios right now. The old Muppets Courtyard is behind construction walls while it’s being converted into a Monsters, Inc. land. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will close in 2026 to make way for the Muppets to take over. Animation Courtyard is under construction to be reimagined as The Walt Disney Studios.

It’s a lot to keep track of. Well, we’ve got another big change in Hollywood Studios to warn you about. The live-action Ariel meet-and-greet location will change soon.
A LOT is happening in Disney World right now with new lands, updated rides, expansions, and MORE all underway — at the same time. It’s enough to make us DIZZY. We need to sit down. How about we take a seat in the NEW Tree of Life theater for the upcoming Zootopia show in Animal Kingdom?

In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new land is being constructed that will replace Dinoland, U.S.A. But that’s not the only new thing coming to Animal Kingdom. A new show is set to premiere in the Tree of Life SOON, Zootopia: Better Zoogether, and Disney just dropped a new poster, seemingly teasing some of the characters you’ll see during the show.
We’ve been waiting for this day to come, and now it’s finally here! Disney previously announced that the Fairy Godmother would be coming to Magic Kingdom as part of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience, and she’s been spotted out and about in Fantasyland preparing for her new role.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios just debuted some NEW character meet and greets! With the closure of Animation Courtyard to make way for The Walt Disney Studios, some rare character sightings have popped up in Hollywood Studios.
Bert and Mr. Penguin
You will find these new character meet and greets on Hollywood Boulevard just in front of the entrance to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We spotted them right around the Central Stage area. We got a chance to meet all the new characters and snap a few quick pics of them!

Disney has officially announced that Frontierland is getting a massive Cars Land-inspired expansion called Piston Peak, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the biggest changes the park has seen in years. We’re talking two brand-new rides, a totally reimagined landscape, and even a geyser called Old Tankful. But here’s the thing: as excited as we are, we’re also nervous. Disney, please don’t fumble this. We’ve seen how game-changing lands can be when Imagineers absolutely nail it (Pandora, Galaxy’s Edge), but we’ve also seen how a highly hyped area can leave guests feeling underwhelmed if things don’t quite land the way we hoped. So here are the big reasons we’re begging Disney not to drop the ball on Piston Peak.

Disney World loves to embrace the holiday fun at the end of the year with events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Speaking of the Hollywood Studios party, Disney has recently confirmed some pretty big Jollywood Nights features, and we’re letting you know all about ’em!
Oogie Boogie has officially taken over Disneyland, and the Halloween after-hours event, Oogie Boogie Bash, has started. This separately ticketed event runs on select nights from August 17th to October 31st and allows guests extra time in Disney California Adventure to celebrate Halloween snacks, characters, and entertainment.

Now, because this is separately ticketed, you’re going to have to pay an additional cost to experience the event, which can make your Disney trip even more expensive. Is it worth it? Let’s find out!
