NEWS: Broadway Announces New Mask and Vaccination Policy for Audiences

In light of the CDC’s new mask recommendations, as well as the rise of the COVID-19 delta variant, Disney World has adopted a new mask policy. And with much of the world resuming past activities, Broadway announced their new COVID-19 policies for shows just days before resuming performances after more than 16 months.

Face masks are back once again in Walt Disney World.

The change comes after the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention announced new mask recommendations and Orange County, Florida (where most of Disney World is located) declared a State of Emergency earlier this week. Disney World announced Wednesday that face masks would be required for ALL individuals when indoors, including when entering and throughout all attractions, starting today. NEWS: Orange County, Florida Declares State of Emergency

The Florida county where the majority of Walt Disney World is located is now under a State of Emergency.

Yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated their mask guidelines for vaccinated individuals in the U.S.. Today, Orange County, Florida Mayor Jerry Demings gave an update on the current state of COVID-19 infections in the community. The Mayor has signed an executive order declaring a state of emergency in an attempt to avoid another shutdown. The state of emergency will last 7 days.
