Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen land is opening SOON, and we can’t wait to check it all out!

Disney World’s 18-month 50th Anniversary celebration came to an end on March 31st, 2023.
We were checking out the crowds in the parks, seeing the decorations for the last time, and overall just taking the final day in. But even if you weren’t in the parks in person over the past 18 months, you could still get the feeling that the 50th was being celebrated by taking a look at Disney World’s app. Now though? All 50th Anniversary theming is GONE from the app.
The D23 Expo is coming soon!
The Disney fan event of the year is taking place from September 9th until September 11th, 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. There’s going be some new info on upcoming Disney and Pixar movies, a Disney on Broadway virtual reality experience, a popular pop-up shop, and much more! Want to learn more? Heading to the Expo and want to know how to plan? It just got easier!
Have you ever lost your car in a Disney parking lot? Well, that problem could soon be a thing of the past!
Listen, it’s happened to the best of us — you’ve been in the theme parks for 12 hours, your feet hurt, you’re exhausted, and you just want to go home or back to your hotel for the night…but you can’t find your car. It’s kind of easy to forget where your car is parked because the Disney parking lots are HUGE (seriously, there are trams that take you around!). But, it’s about to get easier to remember where your car is thanks to a new feature!
Maybe you’re the person with 10 pages of lists with everything you need to do before heading out on your Disney World vacation. Maybe you’ve got all your budget spreadsheets, dining reservation notes, and plans on your computer. Or, maybe you’re someone who has it all planned, it’s just not on paper yet. Whoever you are and however you do it, planning a Disney World vacation can be almost as fun as the trip itself!

IMPORTANT NOTE!! Major changes are being made to the Genie+ system in Disney World starting July 24th, 2024. This post reflects the current Genie+ system that will remain in place through July 23rd, 2024. For our full page of information about the CHANGES coming to the system (which will go into effect on July 24th, 2024), click here. In 2021, the free FastPass+ system was officially discontinued and replaced by the Disney Genie system — specifically the paid Disney Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection (IAS) options at both Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
The big announcement came with enough information to make many people confused and left many with a lot of questions about the new system. The system has been in place in Disney World and Disneyland for a few years now, and we’ve tested it out in both spots to bring you our best tips and tricks. But it’s still a HUGE change with a bit of a learning curve and MORE changes are coming soon. Confused about how to use Genie+ in the parks? Want to learn about the changes coming to Genie+ soon? We’ve got you covered.
Disney World trips can take a lot of planning and preparation.
You have to buy tickets and make park pass reservations, book a hotel, sort out transportation, schedule dining reservations, and more. And, while you may think you’re completely ready for your trip, with everything packed in your suitcase and ready to go, there is one more thing you should make sure to do before your trip!
My Disney Experience has been experiencing a lot of changes lately.
With the introduction of Disney Genie, there is a whole new section of the app you can utilize to see projected wait times, make Lightning Lane reservations, check on dining availability, and more. And today, we noticed something else that’s new on My Disney Experience.
Disney announced the new MagicMobile service earlier this year.
This service is on your smartphone (through the My Disney Experience app), and it works like a MagicBand. With the MagicMobile, you can use your phone (or other smart device like an Apple watch) to enter the Disney parks, link PhotoPass photos, and more. On the app, you can choose from different designs and customize your pass. And Disney just released a BUNCH of new designs just for the 50th Anniversary!
