If there’s one thing we love, it’s bacon!
Disney makes DELICIOUS bacon treats like that chocolate-covered bacon at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! However, at Disneyland, our precious bacon might be at risk!

Well, we’ve had an exciting week at Disneyland!

We’re loving the Jungle Cruise re-theme!
We got to eat french toast and drink tequila from The Rock’s food truck, we got some nice freebies for the world premiere of the Jungle Cruise movie, and we’ve seen SO much cool new Disney merchandise!
Summertime is usually filled with super hot theme park days, which means we need treats that will cool us down so we can keep frolicking around Disney!
Obviously there are the classics, like Dole Whip floats, Citrus Swirls, and Mickey Ice Cream Bars, but we also love to shake it up a little a try treats like the Key Lime Cake Shake and funky themed slushies! Today we tried out a NEW frozen item in Disneyland’s California Adventure, and this one has booze, folks!
More and more locations around Disneyland are starting to reopen — and we’re so excited!
In just the last week alone we were there for the grand reopening of Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure AND got to eat at a buffet again at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!
As conditions continue to change in the world, Disney continues to change and adapt in order to keep guests safe.
Today, a policy change was announced for Disneyland Resort in order to promote health and safety throughout the property and in partnership with guidance from the CDC.
Disneyland reopened a few months ago, but a LOT has changed since then.

Disneyland
Health and safety restrictions have lifted including temperature checks and face masks, plenty of restaurants have reopened, and fan-favorite rides like the Matterhorn Bobsleds have reopened. Another trend we’ve noticed at Disney World is the extension of park hours, and now Disneyland Resort is extending its park hours soon!
Disneyland foodies have had lots to get excited about recently! From the return of buffets and character dining to the reopening of Carthay Circle Restaurant along with some Quick Service locations like Harbour Galley, there are more dining options available now since before the closures that started in March of 2020!
If you’re visiting Disney California Adventure later this week, another dining spot will be open for guests to enjoy!
“Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.”
These are the words we see every time we enter Disneyland! If you really want to rep this classic plaque, the perfect merch for you just arrived at Disney!
Exciting changes continue to happen on a weekly basis at the Disneyland Resort! With more dining options returning to the parks and resorts, along with new menus, souvenirs, and more, it seems like the Happiest Place on Earth is constantly changing these days!
Let’s recap what we’ve discovered over the past week at the Disneyland Resort.
Disney may be a massive company that makes the big bucks, but even they aren’t immune to unexpected issues!
Over the years, we’ve seen all kinds of random problems in the parks, from weather-related shutdowns to tech glitches to animatronic malfunctions. And today, a huge internet and app outage is causing some issues at Disneyland Resort!
