Hello again from EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival! We’re here checking out the early opening of more booths today!
Lobster Landing is a seafood lovers dream
The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is coming up soon but EPCOT opened up some more festival booths for us to enjoy early! Several of them are BRAND NEW, so you know we had to get to the World Showcase ASAP to check them out for you! And one of these new booths is a lobster lover’s DREAM!
Hooray! We finally have a few more updates on the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, which will be showcasing tons of awesomeness from September 14-November 14 this year!
We’ve been reporting the latest and greatest for you as soon as we hear it, from new Eat to the Beat Concert acts to confirmed Food and Wine Festival World Showcase Booths. And now we have even more great info to help you as you plan your Fall trip to the World.
Disney releases Food and Wine info in trickles this time of year, and today we’ve got more details on World Showcase Booths, new special events, a reimagined Party for the Senses, and a twist to the standard culinary and beverage seminars at the Festival Center. Read on for more!

Just wanted to share a few more tidbits of news about the newest restaurants in Epcot’s World Showcase as well as some other Epcot food news!
First, as you know, Epcot will be revealing two restaurants this fall: Hacienda de San Angel is the new name for what was known as the Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion. This location will serve as a counter service eatery during the day, and a table service eatery at night.
Via Napoli, in the Italy pavilion, will be a brand new 300-seat restaurant in Epcot’s World Showcase. The recent news is that the wood-fired pizza ovens in the restaurant will represent three volcanoes in Italy!
The two will open in September, and should be added to Disney’s Advanced Dining Reservations availability in July or August, according to the announcements made at today’s D23 Flowers and Fireworks event.

Word is that Germany’s Goebel Shop in the World Showcase will become a Werther’s Candy Shop by September, 2010. While you’re waiting, check out what it might look like via this The Disney Blog link — seems that Werther’s has shot candy commercials in Epcot’s Germany, turning that exact store into a Werther’s shop…
As you know from our previous post, it looks like Belgium and South Korea will be joining the other country-specific booths on Epcot’s World Showcase Promenade this Fall at the 2010 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
Disneyland is currently holding a twitter contest! Each week during Disney’s California Food and Wine Festival, Disneyland will be giving away 2 1-Day, 1-Park tickets and a $50 Disney Gift Card

2. To enter, reply between 12:01 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (PT) Wednesday with #DisneyFWFest & “Enter me in Disney’s California F&W Festival Sweepstakes.”
3. Sweepstakes open to US residents 18 and over. No purchase necessary. 1 winner selected per week, on 4/14, 4/21 and 4/28/10. Void where prohibited. Please read the detailed rules to find out all the details.
4. Winners will be notified by direct message the day after such Wednesday sweepstakes, and such winners should follow the directions in that message.
