OHMIGOSH you HAVE to see this!
We know that Disney food merchandise is suuuuuper popular right now — Disney snack-themed jewelry, scented pillows, an entire dishware line, and more have popped up in the Disney parks.
And now we’ve got one more thing to add to the list…and it’s already selling out wherever it’s been available!
We stopped by Animal Kingdom this week to round up all the latest news for you! We found lots of menu updates and changes and some great new merchandise! So, let’s get to it…
If you’re looking for that adorable Simba Cupcake while you’re in Animal Kingdom, your best bet is to head to Pizzafari since it is no longer in the Creature Comforts bakery case. We did spot the Caramel Mocha and the Lotus Blossom cupcake in the lineup though!
It seems like snack merchandise is the name of the game in 2019 and Disney is speaking our language! We first spotted the next wave of Disney snack goodies in Disneyland and couldn’t wait for them to make it to Walt Disney World. That day has arrived folks! I give you: SCENTED SNACK PILLOWS!!
We found this super cute Dole Whip pillow in Magic Kingdom this week. To find out what else is new in Magic Kingdom take a peek at our news round up! But there were even more scented pillows to be spotted throughout Disney World!
We’ve been WAITING for this! MouseGear in Epcot’s Future World is making your Disney snack food jewelry dreams come true!
We were thrilled when the Alex and Ani Disney Food bangles popped up in Disney Springs. And now there’s even more Disney snack bling!
The small collection features a trio of Disney snack necklaces (one of which is right out of our middle school playbook!) and a super fun bracelet. [Read more…]
Move over Casey’s Corner corn dog nuggets — the BIG (corn) DOGS have arrived at Magic Kingdom’s Sleepy Hollow Refreshments!
Disney fans will remember when the hand-dipped corn dog came over to Sleepy Hollow in 2017. Sadly, after a short stint it was taken off the menu. We’re glad to say the corn dog is back and bigger than ever (just not hand-dipped this time)! This thing is seriously HUGE — it’s almost as tall as Cinderella Castle!
Check it out!! We’ve seen loads of Disney Food merchandise in the parks the past few years, and especially in the last couple of weeks with the new D-Lish line.
And today we spotted some brand new scented food merchandise in Disneyland – pillows, specifically!
So far, we’ve spotted donuts, Mickey bars, macarons, and more!
Walt Disney World
is never shy to jump on the bandwagon of snack trends, and we love them for it! Edible cookie dough is one such trend — and it’s popping up all over the place! We first spotted it at All-Star Sports back in July, then it arrived (in Mickey style!!) at AristoCrepes in Disney Springs. Now there’s a second Disney Springs locale getting in on the action: B. B. Wolf’s!
Flavor combinations in edible cookie dough can be as diverse as cookies themselves, and AristoCrepes offered the most unique combo we’d seen thus far with Gingerbread Butterscotch. But B. B. Wolf’s is taking it there with Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!
Bacon in dessert can be a little hit or miss for us, but this one looks promising enough with lots of crispy bacon bits on top of the otherwise ordinary-looking cookie dough. The bacon, sadly, isn’t caramelized or sweetened in anyway, so it’s just a serious savory bomb. This creates a really stark contrast to the otherwise sweet dessert.
For us, this uber-savory addition didn’t work. It’s too salty and overpowers the (relatively nonexistent) maple and chocolate, both of which take a backseat to the super-salty bacon. There are plenty of chocolate chips in there, but they can’t compete with the bossy bacon. And the cookie dough flavor itself just isn’t there.
The concept we do not dispute, but it’s a little clunky and thus out of balance. If you’re spending $4.50, find a snack that’s hitting all the right notes, not one that needs to be edited.
What kind of cookie dough would you love to see the Disney Parks try next? Let us know in the comments!
Great news, everyone! Our favorite spring roll cart in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom just got a new version for you to try!
We’ve loved the cheeseburger spring rolls for years, and the new bacon mac and cheese version is decent as well. But…
