Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of entertainment, merchandise, and food updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
We’re REALLY glad we wore our stretchy pants today because we’ve eaten so many holiday treats already (and it’s only the first day of the season)!
As we’ve walked around the Magic Kingdom, we’ve tried Gingerbread and Apple Churros, Let It Snow Taco, and the very strange Pistachio Chai Tea Float. But, even though we’ve been making our snack list and checking it twice, there was a SURPRISE dessert that popped up over at Storybook Treats!
This week has been busy in the parks and online as there was a bit of a misstep on the Disney World dining reservation page. This past Tuesday, there was a VERY surprising amount of availability for popular restaurants whose bookings tend to sell out quickly.
After many guests made reservations for spots like Be Our Guest and Chef Mickey’s (including us!), the site went down with technical difficulties. We later shared that these surprise reservations were ultimately released due to a glitch and would be canceled.
PHEW! It’s been a full day in the parks as the holiday season kicks off all around Disney World’s property!
Even though the parks have transformed into a Winter Wonderland for Christmas, the parks are still looking ahead to next year as guests plan to visit for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
It’s finally here! CHRISTMAS is in full swing in Disney World (and we’ve got our Santa hats ready to go)!
Since the parks have officially kicked off the season today, we’ve seen treats and decorations take over each of the parks. While we’ve been in the Magic Kingdom so far today, we’ve had Sugar and Spice Churros as well as the Twice Upon a Cupcake.
Disney World’s face mask policy has been a staple health measurement since the announcement that Disney Springs was reopening back in May of 2020. In fact, Disney’s policies regarding face masks predate Disney Springs’ reopening to when Shanghai Disneyland first welcomed guests back on May 11th, 2020.
But since the theme parks reopened in July, those requirements and guidelines have changed. Let’s recap the past few months since reopening and go over the timeline of Disney World’s face mask requirement.
We know that Christmas merchandise has taken over Disney World, but some people would love to find Star Wars items under their trees this year (AKA us).
And, there’s nothing less than parks-full of Star Wars merchandise right now with Endor and The Mandalorian Spirit Jerseys, new “scrap metal” for customizable lightsaber parts, and apparel and accessories galore from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Hello, friends!!! Wowza, it’s been a majorly crazy year, but slowly things are starting to look a little more “normal” around Disney World.
Previously closed restaurants and hotels are reopening around property, and today the Friendship Boats have resumed service in Disney World.
The moment you get your first lightsaber in Disney World is a pretty important occasion. It’s the time you get to choose whether you’re going to fight for the Resistance or support the First Order with Jedi or Sith colored Kyber Crystals.
We’ve recently seen Force Guided Kyber Crystals that allow guests to interact with Yoda and Darth Vader directly. Plus there’s been the announcement of brand NEW lightsaber hilts from the Jedi Fallen Order video game!
It’s officially CHRISTMASTIME in the Magic Kingdom!! And, we’re already craving a big cup of hot chocolate and a stroll through some snoap soon.
Recently, Disney released a TON of holiday merchandise and we started to see STARS in Hollywood Studios, which hinted at the start of the holiday season in the parks (even though it wasn’t even Halloween yet). But today Halloween is officially OVA, and holiday decor is arriving in Magic Kingdom!
