Although we’ve seen some firework testing going on, fireworks are still temporarily suspended in Disney World. But, we’ve now found a way for you to celebrate your love of one upcoming Disney fireworks show at home!

Lately, the big news from Universal Orlando has been the modified Halloween Horror Nights experiences being offered this Halloween season! However, as the parks continue moving forward with the next level of reopening, Universal has also made several operational changes in the parks.

We’re starting to get more details about what this could mean for Cast Members in Disney World, Disneyland, and elsewhere. We know that this is a very difficult time for Cast Members throughout the country, and we know that information is coming in fits and starts, bits and pieces, and third-party games of telephone from other Cast Members.

Just a few weeks ago, Disneyland even held an exclusive shopping event for those looking to purchase some limited edition 65th Anniversary Pins. But, if you couldn’t get reservations for that event, don’t worry.
Although Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are still closed, the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, with all of its fantastic stores and restaurants, is open!

Yesterday, Disney announced that approximately 28,000 Cast Members are set to be laid off from the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division of the company.

Now, we’ve got an update on what those numbers will look like specifically in relation to Walt Disney World employees.

And, in response, the Service Trades Council Union, which represents 43,000 Cast Members at Walt Disney World, has released a statement on their Twitter account.
Today, Disney announced that it would be laying off 28,000 employees in the Parks, Experiences, and Products segment due to the financial hit the company took during the coronavirus pandemic.
