Expedition Everest Lightning Lane
In case you missed it, Genie+ has replaced the old FastPass system in Disney World (and the MaxPass system in Disneyland Resort), and it now costs you a fee to purchase daily. Instead of reserving a FastPass lane, guests can now book Lightning Lanes one by one in the My Disney Experience app. And now the way you make those reservations is getting some updates!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
In both Disneyland and Disney World, Galaxy’s Edge can transport you to Batuu where you can build a droid, join the resistance, or have a cocktail over at Oga’s Cantina. It’s no surprise that Star Wars fans are passionate about a galaxy far, far away, leading to some cool fan events that happen in the parks! And, the other day, we spotted a pretty awesome gathering of fans over at Disneyland Resort.

There is lots to explore this season, but one iconic treat returned that everyone couldn’t wait for — Disneyland candy canes! And if you wanted one today, you were going to need LOADS of patience.

We love attending the Disney California Adventure Festival of the Holidays. We also love seeing the characters in their holiday outfits. We also love all the holiday treats! But one of the most special events during the holidays is the Candlelight Processional — and we were there for the first one of the year!
Happy Holidays from the West Coast! The snow is on the castle in Disneyland, so it is officially the holiday season (okay, the snow has been on there since BEFORE Halloween, though).

So while we’re buying up some holiday merchandise and sipping on hot cocoa, we’re also eating up ALL the holiday snacks. So we’re headed over to Disney California Adventure to try a new one!

Tortilla Jo’s
If you’ve ever tasted a Disneyland corn dog, eaten a Disneyland churro, or drunk a Mint Julep, you’ll know we’re speaking the truth. Disneyland also has some great Mexican-inspired fare, including at Downtown Disney, where you’ll find the Mexican restaurant Tortilla Jo’s. Now, Tortilla Jo’s is bringing a new burrito to its menu for the month of December.

We’ve seen some new spicy snacks in Galaxy’s Edge recently, and you can now meet The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda as they walk around! If you’re a lightsaber fan and have been searching for a new hilt, we’ve got good news — you can now buy Qui-Gon Jinn’s Legacy Lightsaber Hilt in Disneyland!
