Disney World wait times rebounded in a HUGE way this week after a few weeks of surprising lows. The jump was spearheaded by a big bump in the wait times for Flight of Passage, TRON Lightcycle / Run’s first full week with a standby queue, and a busier-than-average week at Hollywood Studios.

Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and Disney’s hotels are all decked out for Halloween. Oogie Boogie Bash is underway in California Adventure (and is sold out, in case you were wondering). Universal Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights is happening. But a NEW Halloween event is coming that is basically taking the concept of Halloween Horror Nights, but giving it a Disney theme — AND WE HAVE TO GO.

Disney World wait times have been pretty low lately. Of course, even during this slower time of year, some of Disney’s popular attractions still reported wait times close to 60 minutes. Nevertheless, wait times, perhaps impacted by Lighting Lane Multi Pass, remained low overall.

With Halloween season upon us, finding the perfect spooky makeup look is high on many people’s to-do lists. Disney has once again teamed up with well-known makeup brand ColourPop to introduce a new delectably devious collection based on the iconic Haunted Mansion.
It’s the season of all things spooky, so yes, we’re riding Haunted Mansion a lot right now in Disney World. Okay, granted, we don’t need it to be Halloween to ride one of our favorite rides, but we love trying to spot new things.

We’ve recently seen some new additions to the Haunted Mansion, too. Last year, we finally got our own version of Hatbox Ghost. Then there was the addition of a nice Rolly Crump Easter Egg. Then one of the picnic ghosts returned to the cemetery scene in the ride. Now, the second picnic ghost has returned after having been gone for some time.

Disney World saw something VERY RARE this week. Flight of Passage did NOT have the highest average wait time at the resort, that title instead went to Slinky Dog Dash. Meanwhile, Jungle Cruise closed for refurbishment and the Lighting Lane Multi Pass continued to impact the resort.
We were NOT prepared to see this today.
Haunted Mansion
Haunted Mansion fans, we have to admit there have been some really cool merchandise items to grab in the past that make your home feel like its part of the mansion, but these new souvenirs take things to the NEXT level. Trust us, grab your wallets now to be prepared!
When you ask someone’s favorite ride in Magic Kingdom, there’s probably about a 50% chance they’ll say Haunted Mansion is in their top 3.

It’s an iconic attraction and one of the few that’s represented in different ways across international Disney parks!
