It has been a busy week at Disney World!
EPCOT
We had a new restaurant opening, the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and lots of new merchandise, all within the past few days. For EPCOT in particular, there has been a lot going on, and today we’re sharing all the updates you missed if you haven’t visited recently!
We’ve seen the movies. Let’s be real here. Princess Leia isn’t exactly wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops on all of her adventures. So what if you arrive at the Star Wars Hotel, see the fully in-theme characters around you, and suddenly feel the urge to put giant buns in your hair and wear a FULL Star Wars-inspired outfit (that you will then pull out of your closet once a year to wear for no reason whatsoever)? Or maybe you just want to buy a trinket to commemorate your experience? Don’t panic! Like any good Disney experience, even in space there’s a gift shop! ⭐MERCHANDISING!⭐
Merchandise on the Galactic Starcruiser
While we were busy cruising in a galaxy far, far away, we spent a lot of time eating some unique food, going on some fun missions for the Resistance (and maybe also the First Order — don’t judge us! 😂), and sleeping in space. But we also spent some time shopping and we’ve got photos of EVERY piece of merchandise you can buy on the Galactic Starcruiser! From full-on outfits, to shirts, to water bottles — we’re covering it all for you.
You walk into a Disney merchandise store in any of their parks and have some idea of what you might find — Minnie ears, plushes, shirts, spirit jerseys — the usual. But sometimes, you visit a gift shop and find something like this…
WHAT IS THIS THING?
…ohhhh boy. Is it just us or does our little green alien friend look like he’s FOAMING at the mouth?! Seriously, Disney, WHO thought this was a good idea?!!? But, this little green alien isn’t alone. Come with us now on a fantastic, strange, incredibly unusual journey through just some of the Disney souvenirs we’ve found that have made us think “WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?!” Get ready to laugh because some of this merchandise is so funny or just plain wrong…that we love it!

Although we love just hanging out here and oohing and aahing at the animals on the savannas, we also spent some time checking out what’s new at the resort. So here are the latest updates!
Hand sanitizer has ALWAYS been one of the top things we carry in our bags when going to a Disney theme park, but in 2020, keeping your hands squeaky clean has become more important than EVER!
