We’ve got even more news about a new feature on the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World guests: the Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist!
This feature allows guests to view Table Service restaurants that have available seating for walk-up guests with just a tap on their phone. The list of restaurants utilizing the feature continues to expand (almost daily!), and today there are FIVE more restaurants on the Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist that we want to share with you. MagicBands are wearable devices that can function as a guest’s park ticket, hotel room key, contactless payment method, and more.
The MagicBand is integrated with a guest’s My Disney Experience account, which helps consolidate plans and reservations without the need to carry multiple physical tickets, cards, and keys.
Since being introduced in 2013, Disney World hotel guests and Annual Passholders have all received a free, solid color MagicBand; and recently received the option to select an upgraded MagicBand design for a discounted rate. But soon, that practice will be changing.
Well, we said we’d keep you posted when more restaurants were added to the new Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist feature on the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World guests, and today we’re doing exactly that!
But first, in case you’re not yet familiar… Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist is a recently-added feature on the app which allows guests to check for Table Service restaurants that currently have availability to accept walk-up guests. Up until this point, the restaurants available to check via this new feature have all been located at Disney World Resort hotels. But now a restaurant that is located in a Disney World theme park can be found on the list. [Read more…]
The list of options for walk-up dining in Disney World just keeps GROWING!
Recently, Disney World launched the brand-new Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist feature in the My Disney Experience app. This feature allows guests to join a waitlist from their phones at select Disney World restaurants — and more spots keep showing up on this list every day!
We’ve been following along with the release of a NEW dining feature in Disney World this week.
A few days ago, we noticed that the new Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist feature was available on the My Disney Experience app — but it didn’t last long. A few hours after its launch, the feature had disappeared. Well, this morning, the Walk-up Waitlist is BACK! Let’s take a look!
More and more dining locations are reopening at Disney World. Last week The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, and Enzo’s Hideaway reopened while Jaleo by Chef José Andrés is getting ready to welcome back guests today!
In a reopened Disney World, reservations are more important than ever and we’d started to feel like walk-up dining was a thing of the past. That is, until yesterday when we saw the brand-new Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist feature added to the My Disney Experience app. Here’s the thing, though — this new feature has gone MISSING!
When Disney World reopened, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on some of our favorite frozen snacks, especially the grand poobah of them all, Dole Whip!
Aloha Isle, which tends to serve a variety of Dole Whip options, is one of the dining locations that has reopened at Magic Kingdom. But prior to welcoming guests back, they cut several items from their menu! We saw Raspberry Dole Whip and the Kakamora Float (one of our favorite treats made from Coconut Dole Whip) get the boot!
Disney World is currently promoting many new health and safety measures in its newly reopened parks. From face masks to temperature screenings and physical distancing, several elements are now mandatory for guests.
But other procedures, while strongly encouraged, are still considered optional. One of these enhancements is Mobile Order, a contactless way to pre-order and pre-pay for your food using the My Disney Experience app.
We’re live at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today for its grand reopening!
Temperature and bag checks went smoothly and we were allowed inside the park just a few minutes before for the first group of Rise of the Resistance boarding passes to be released at 10AM.
