Hi everyone! It’s a perfect day to take a walk around Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’ve spotted a few interesting things while out and about, so shall we get to it? LET’S DO THIS!
If you’re in the market for Halloween decorations, Disney has you covered!
We’ve seen everything from Halloween wreaths to Mickey pumpkin pillows and MORE available both in-store and online. Oh, and don’t even get us started on alllll the awesome new Haunted Mansion merch! But if you’re looking for something a little more chilling to add to your Halloween display, you HAVE to see this spooky decor we spotted in Disney World!
We think the Evil Queen would approve of this villainous mug!
We spotted all kinds of interesting things on our trip to Disney Springs today — like delicious, fruity beers, and a gorgeous Alice in Wonderland tumbler!
We got to hand it to the Disney villains — they somehow make being bad look sooo good!
And while we’ve already shown you a sneak peek of some of the eats and drinks you’ll find lurking at the 2020 Disney Villains After Hours parties (which kick off this Friday!), here’s a preview of some of the party-exclusive merch that’ll help you accentuate your bad side!
Fans of the Poison Apple Steins, heads up! A PURPLE apple stein you’ll definitely want to get your hands on has popped up over in Disney Springs!
Poison Apple Slush
While we’ve seen red apple steins for the past few years, and more recently green apple mugs showed up on the scene at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, this is the first time we’re seeing purple in Disney World! And we know just WHERE you can find it!
Today, we shared our first look at the Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party with you!
And now, we’re going to dive into a few of the spooktacular treats you’ll find around the Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time this year! [Read more…]
There is a brand new Character Dining experience in Disney World’s Wilderness Lodge!
Making its debut this evening, Artist Point now presents a character dinner featuring friends — and one foe! — from the beloved Disney film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy now meet and greet with guests throughout the prix-fixe dinner, which also presents a photo opportunity with The Queen!
For years, Artist Point served as the the signature dining option in Wilderness Lodge with a focus on the tastes and feel of the American Northwest. But both the setting and the menu have received an entire makeover for this new meal, bringing Walt Disney’s first feature-length animated film to the forefront of the experience in every aspect.
So it’s time to enter the Enchanted Forest… by way of Artist Point!
And so, the story begins… [Read more…]

We just showed off a few fun Halloween and fall-time treats unique to Walt Disney World a few days ago, and reviewed that yummy cinnamon pumpkin cupcake in Animal Kingdom as well! Now we’re headed over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to tackle another Halloween-y sweet treat — the Poison Apple Cupcake!
Let me just remind everyone that accepting a poison apple from some mean, scary witch in the forest is a bad idea. Really, a terrible one. Snow White taught us all a valuable lesson. But, accepting a poison apple cupcake from the lively cast members at Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, well, that’s a completely different story. Spoiler alert: It’s a really good idea. And a delicious one, too.
We LOOOOVE Wilderness Lodge. It’s like walking into a fall/winter day in a National Park Lodge every time I’m there…which is a nice mind trick when it’s still. so. freaking. hot. in Florida. Throw a Halloween-themed cupcake into the mix, and I’m game.
It’s Halloween in the Disney Parks, and if you think Disney Springs was letting everyone else have all the fun, you’ve got another think comin’! Because right now at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, a trio of drinks come with Poison Apple Glow Cubes!
You need this, so here’s the drill: The Forbidden Apple, the Autumn Smash, and the Non-Alcoholic Poison-less Apple each come with the green Poison Apple Glow Cube. (You might recognize it from Disneyland’s Halloween Time last year, and those lucky ducks on the west coast have three colors from which to choose this year!) [Read more…]
The famous Poison Apple has been casting its spell in Disney World and Disneyland over the past several years during Halloween in several forms from Poison Caramel Apples, to Poison Apple glow cubes, to a new Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake. And this year, you can scare up the latest incarnation in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom: it’s the Green Poison Apple Stein!
Though in previous years the stein has been available in red, the green is making its debut in Animal Kingdom. We spotted ours at Mahindi (also known by its previous name, Harambe Popcorn), but it should be available at various outdoor snack locations throughout the park. [Read more…]
