Starting on May 26th, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will finally be open in Hollywood Studios with new songs, celebrity cameos, and Muppet-y craziness. There’s also going to be a new snack stand called FØØD by Swedish Chef, and we just got the FULL MENU!
We might have lost Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to make way for a new Monsters, Inc. land, but at least the Muppets are getting their own space over on Sunset Boulevard as they prepare to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

But it’s not just a ride that’s getting a Muppet makeover. The former KRNR snack spot near Rock ‘n ‘Roller Coaster is also getting a makeover…and it’s going to be themed to the Swedish Chef! Well, now, we have a huge SIGN that this is really happening!
We’re getting closer and closer to the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios, and to say we’re excited would be a MAJOR understatement.

Why? Well, May 26th, 2026 is a HUGE day of kicking off summer fun and also happens to be the grand opening for several new and updated attractions and offerings. Here, I’m breaking down the best plan for you if you want to accomplish everything new in one day.
We’ve got massive news out of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which sounds like something we say basically once a week, but that’s because it’s TRUE!

There are multiple construction projects happening in the park right now (well, there are dozens all over Disney World as a whole), and so that means that every week, it feels like at least one of them takes a big step forward. In this case, it’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which opens its doors in just a few short weeks. Something new is on the iconic guitar, and it’s got us VERY excited!
A LOT is going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios right now. Not only is a brand new Monsters, Inc. land being built, but Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is getting a Muppets makeover, and Animation Courtyard is being reimagined into The Walt Disney Studios.
