Disney has filed some permits that could point to future ride and hotel changes, a big change has been announced for a Hollywood Studios ride, TRON Lightcycle / Run is now open, Park Pass rules have changed for Annual Passholders, and more updates are on the way. And recently, we spotted a change at Space Mountain you’ll want to know about.
TRON Lightcycle / Run has officially opened in Magic Kingdom, and now a new experience related to that coaster is open as well!

When you board the lightcycles at the TRON coaster, you can enter the grid to race against some pretty menacing programs. But if you want to go a step further, you can create your own custom “Program” action figure at the nearby Tomorrowland Launch Depot gift shop. There’s a LOT going on in Disney World this week! A restaurant has reopened, another one saw some major menu changes, TWO fireworks shows are ending and being replaced, and that’s just before Tuesday.

Along with the debut of TRON, Tomorrowland is getting a rethemed gift shop (Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. is now Tomorrowland Launch Depot), new TRON-themed merchandise at a pop-up shop, and even a new snack spot! There will be a new interactive TRON experience too and we’ve got ALL the details you need to know right here.
