We’re talking about Universal Stella Nova Resort, which has a space-y galaxy theme (as in the “infinite vastness of the universe”). We’ve had a chance to visit the hotel, and OF COURSE, we’re checking out all the food available there. We popped by the Cosmos Cafe and Market to see if we could get some out-of-this-world dining! There’s a NEW place to stay in Orlando, and this hotel (and everything in it) is STUNNING! The brand-new Universal Stella Nova Resort is opening on January 21st, 2025, and you can find this resort right next to the all-new Universal Epic Universe theme park, which opens on May 22nd, 2025.

Universal Orlando has an exciting year ahead! Epic Universe and the Helios Grand Hotel are opening in May, but before that, the brand-new Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts will be opening!

Stella Nova Resort will be the first of the three new hotels opening at Universal Orlando. It’s a space-themed hotel, just like its sister resort, Terra Luna. According to Universal, “It’s inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” And now we get to explore it for the first time ever days ahead of its grand opening!

While Epic Universe is still a few months away from its grand opening, Universal is opening its first hotel near the brand-new theme park. This new hotel is the first of three hotels opening near Epic Universe, and we can’t wait to see inside.
The Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed the lineup for their 2025 Mardi Gras celebration, featuring acts from across the spectrum of popular music, including Joe Jonas, T-Pain, Foster the People, Kool & The Gang, Foster the People, All Time Low, TLC, and DJ Pauly D.

The concerts, which are part of the resort’s 30th Mardi Gras celebration — which is included with park admission — will take place “on select nights at the Music Plaza Stage inside Universal Studios Florida, following the Mardi Gras parade.”
We’re only a few months away from the opening of Epic Universe in Orlando and the excitement just keeps building!

We’re expecting to see very heavy crowds around the new park for quite some time after its opening due to its popularity (which could mean Disney World sees lower crowds this summer — we’ll have to wait and see!), and we’re preparing ourselves to run around the park as fast as we can to capture everything and report back to you ASAP. However, Universal just released a photo that gives us a fun insight into the new park!
