Listen. Phone bills are expensive — data isn’t cheap. In this day and age, having a working, reliable connection to the internet is ESSENTIAL to function, even when you’re on vacation! Take Disney World, for example. It’s practically impossible NOT to use your phone on vacation here; you need that My Disney Experience app to book reservations, check the wait times, view photos, and SO MUCH more. But what if you don’t want to use cell phone data?

Here’s the deal. Disney offers free public Wi-Fi in its parks and resorts, but the connection can be unreliable. Whether you’ve got an important phone call to answer or you just want to be on that speedy Wi-Fi when it’s time to book a Genie+ Lightning Lane, here are a few places to AVOID due to poor internet signal.
Trips to Disney are EXPENSIVE! There’s no doubt about it.
Add up all the costs for airfare, hotel rooms, and park tickets and we’d be surprised if you even had any money left over for food and souvenirs or add-ons like Genie+ or PhotoPass. Thinking about all that, we thought we’d bring you our list of the BEST free things in Disney World right now. (Bet you didn’t know there were any free things to do at Disney World!)
If you’re looking for an upgraded flight experience we’ve got some news for you!
In the past, we’ve shared a look at some upgraded features coming to United Airlines planes, changes in first class on American Airlines, and even upgraded boarding for Southwest. But more airline changes are on the way — this time, with Delta Airlines.
There’s no question that a trip to Disney is expensive. When you factor in resort rooms, park tickets, dining costs, and souvenirs, it can all add up (and that’s not even including extras like Genie+, PhotoPass, and special events or tours)! Some families save up for years just so they can afford a Disney vacation.
Let’s jump into our list of the BEST free things in Disney World right now. (Whew! Setting the bar high off the get-go, amiright?)
There are lots of times when you’ll need to whip out that credit card before and during your Disney World trip. (You’ll see proof of that on your credit card bills after your trip. 😳)
For starters, you’ve got to buy your park tickets to actually get in and experience the magic. Then, you’ve got to decide where you’re staying (unfortunately you can’t sleep in the Disney World theme parks 😂). And throughout your trip, you’ll need to pay for snacks, souvenirs, and much more. Your first thought may be to use your credit/debit card to pay for most or all of these things (and maybe you’ll rely on your MagicBand to pay since they can typically be connected to your credit card), but there are a few reasons why you should always carry multiple forms of payment with you. If you don’t, you may encounter a serious issue.
Despite the perception that literally EVERYTHING costs an arm and a leg in Disney World, there are in fact NUMEROUS free things to do in the Most Magical Place on Earth!Â
