There’s nothing worse than planning your Disneyland trip just to find out one of your favorite attractions is closed.
Before you scan your ticket and run to the castle, you need to be aware of these three Disneyland closures in April!
Okay, hear us out. Sometimes you want cake, but you don’t want a WHOLE slice of cake (like those incredible and ginormous slices from The Cake Bake Shop that could feed us for DAYS).
So there are a few options. You could just get the cake slice anyway and eat just what you want of it. Or you could grab a cake pop (which is easily found at Starbucks locations throughout Disney World). However, we may have a new favorite way to appreciate cake — the Cake Bar. Now we’ve already seen a few Cake Bar options at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, and we’ve been fans. Well, a new Thumper Cake Bar now available as part of Disney World’s Easter treats menu is now available!
Sometimes it feels good to be “bad”…
Well, not really bad. We obviously don’t condone breaking any Disney World rules, EVER. Let’s be 100% clear there. However, sometimes at Disney World, there are things that *feel* like they should be against the rules — to the point of being fun to “get away with” — but are actually perfectly fine to do. One of our favorites involves gift shops.
So breakfast is supposedly the most important meal of the day, but when you’re up and at it early in the mornings in Disney World, it’s way too easy to miss breakfast.
Now, don’t get us wrong — we NEVER miss a meal, but sometimes finding a quick breakfast is tricky unless we want donuts or sweets (and sometimes you want something more filling). In Disney Springs, the choices can also be a little limited, especially if you want something fast, but Summer House On The Lake is now offering a grab-and-go breakfast that could be EXACTLY what you need.
Southwest Airlines recently announced a ton of changes to its operations, including getting rid of its controversial open boarding process in exchange for assigned seating, offering premium seating options, and changing its rewards program.
Following Southwest’s announcement that it would be getting rid of its “bags fly free” policy, the feedback has been… unpleasant, to say the least. And now, Frontier Airlines is throwing shade at Southwest by offering free bags on select flights.
It’s that ALDI time of the week!
In recent years, ALDI has become one of our FAVORITE places to shop. The quickly expanding supermarket chain offers everything from essential theme park items to toys to adorable home goods. Each week, we scour their newest listings, and they nearly never disappoint, especially when it comes to Disney items and theme park essentials! However, since ALDI doesn’t offer online shopping, we’ve also tracked down some equivalent items on Amazon for those of you without a geographically convenient ALDI location.
If there’s anything we stress as a priority, it’s that you should consider always rope dropping Magic Kingdom.
First, Magic Kingdom has more rides than all the other parks in Disney World, so you’ll need more time there. But, also, rope drop could get you a ride on a popular ride with a shorter wait — and all you have to do is get up a little earlier and be at the park when it opens. However, if you rope drop Magic Kingdom NOW, you might find that it’s changed. Let’s talk about how it’s different.
There is a lot happening in Disney World right now!

EPCOT
We are getting a major Magic Kingdom expansion, Hollywood Studios has two new shows coming soon, and Animal Kingdom just said goodbye to an opening day attraction for a new attraction coming this year. Not only are the parks changing, the prices are too which normally means a price increase. That’s why we were so shocked (and thrilled) that it somehow got cheaper to eat at one of our favorite EPCOT restaurants!
Could the Power Rangers be making their return to Disney?
You may remember (or wonder if you made it up in your head) that the Power Rangers used to meet at Hollywood Studios. While the Power Rangers may have left the park in 2010, there are currently talks to bring a live-action Power Rangers series to Disney+! Here is what we know so far!
