We hate to be the ones to have to tell you this, but Disney has been lying to you. 😱
As much as we LOVE Disney, we have to expose these “lies” to you. They may not be explicitly lying to you or even mean to say untruthful things, but some things have become insinuated through their actions. So, we’re to clear the air, so to say. There are 6 lies that many of us have started to believe about Disney, and we needed to shed some light on the facts.
Okay runners, are you ready?
Of course, you are. We know many of you train all through the year to participate in Disney’s many runDisney events. Now that runDisney events have returned to Disneyland, you might even be gearing up for Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend on September 8th, which could be one of the most fun events of the year, especially if you love all things spooky. Well, registration for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is now open!
Disney World rides can be things of wonder — but they can also be fickle beasts.
It makes sense, after all, considering these attractions see quite a bit of constant, daily use for months and even years on end. So, every once in a while, Disney has to close a ride for refurbishment to give it a little TLC. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Hollywood Studios has been closed with no end in sight — but now we’ve got an update about this project!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Disney just announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open EARLY in Magic Kingdom, in the summer of 2024! That means we’ll get to go down the bayou with Tiana in just a few months. We’ve been watching the construction progress at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on BOTH coasts!
And one thing we know is that Disney World’s ride construction is way head of the progress over at Disneyland, which only makes sense because Disney World closed Splash Mountain and started the transformation months before Disneyland did.
We just got an update on when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in Disney World, and now we know more about the Disneyland opening, too!

The new ride, themed to Disney’s The Princess and the Frog movie, is replacing Splash Mountain in both Frontierland in Magic Kingdom and Critter Country in Disneyland. Splash Mountain closed in January 2023, and Disney previously announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would open in “late 2024.” Then, they started removing the “late” language, leading us to believe that the ride could open sooner rather than later. Turns out, we were correct! [Read more…]
When you’re prepping for a long day in a theme park, it’s a good idea to eat breakfast first!
The good news is that the Disney World parks have some pretty delicious options! In particular, EPCOT has some of our favorite breakfast items on property at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie and Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. But what about when you’re in the front of the park? Well, Disney has a solution for that!
A huge celebrity has been spotted in Disneyland!

Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland
Every day is special when you’re in a Disney theme park, but today was extra exciting because there was a one-day-only cavalcade in Disneyland to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory at Super Bowl LVIII. The star of the show was none other than three-time Super Bowl MVP and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes! [Read more…]
