There are a ton of exciting things happening over in EPCOT as part of the park’s major transformation, plus we’ve seen progress being made on the TRON construction in Magic Kingdom as well. We also spotted performance cancellations for the reimagined Finding Nemo show in Animal Kingdom! Today, we’re heading to Disney Springs to see what’s new in Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district.
It might sound weird, but an iconic part of staying in a Disney World hotel is the TOILETRIES!

If you’ve stayed at a Disney Resort hotel, then you probably know what we’re talking about. The lotion, shampoo, and soap they provide are pretty popular among guests — so popular, in fact, that Disney actually sells them online in their H2O+ line! The 50th anniversary celebrations, a new ride opening, Flower and Garden Festival, new merchandise, big crowds — we could go on and on. With everything happening, new things can sometimes go unnoticed, but that’s why we’re here! We pay attention to EVERYTHING new at Disney World to bring you all the updates. So, let’s go see what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Lily Aldridge has brought her own magic to Disney parks in many ways! You may have seen (or even bought) her designer Rainbow Ears, or maybe you’ve sipped on her drink in EPCOT, The Lily Margarita. And speaking of, the drink was so good, that after it debuted at the El Artista Hambriento booth at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, it was added to the permanent menu at La Cava del Tequila! And now, this gorgeous drink got an upgrade!

We know how we like to rank the rides in the park, but now, we’re asking YOU! We’ve been asking you over on Instagram (@disneyfoodblog) which Magic Kingdom rides you think are best in some head-to-head matchups, and there have been some pretty surprising results. But now, we’re down to just 4 rides left in the bracket, and we now know which 2 rides are headed to the FINAL!
It’s not easy to find a Disney World snack under $5, but they do exist!
Can man live on bread alone? We think so.
In EPCOT, you can grab a Full Baguette from Les Halles Boulangerie for $3.50, or try the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for $4.99. There’s another snack under $5 but we have to warn you — it can be a bit divisive!
If you’re a fan of the Indiana Jones movies, you can visit Disney World for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular or ride Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland Resort!

But in case you didn’t know, Disneyland and Disney World often have Indiana Jones merchandise too! Depending on when you visit, you might be able to find Indiana Jones’s hat, his whip, or any number of souvenirs. And coming soon to Disney Parks and online is a NEW Indiana Jones merchandise collection!

Figuring out where and what to eat in Disney World can feel like an overwhelming choice. After all, there are over 400 dining experiences available across property! Sometimes it seems like the restaurants inside the parks get most of the buzz (hi there, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Space 220, Be Our Guest Restaurant, etc., etc.). Since there typically isn’t as much chatter happening around the Disney World Resort restaurants, how are you supposed to know where to start?? Well, don’t worry friends, we’re here to help!

MagicBand+ is Disney’s upgraded MagicBand system, and it comes with several upgrades like the ability to interact with the 50th Anniversary character statues and the opportunity to become a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! But, if you’re not looking to upgrade to MagicBand+, that’s fine too — your classic MagicBand can still be used around Disney World even after the upgrade launches. And, if you’re in the market for a new MagicBand to add to your collection, you’ll want to see the new items we found in EPCOT today!
