Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Woodland Tote

The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Woodland Tote by Loungefly is so stinking cute! But what we appreciate most is that it’s in classic red, so it’s perfect for grown up Disney fans! It’s subtle, stunning, and the color combinations are super interesting.

While you’re checking out ALL THE FOOD around the Festive Foods Marketplace for Disneyland’s Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, you might also want to be on the lookout for additional offerings around Paradise Pier!

In celebration of ¡Viva Navidad! throughout the Festival, look for outdoor vending stops offering items such as Elote (street-style corn with mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and tajin — AAAAH SO GOOOOD), Horchata (a sweet rice beverage with vanilla and cinnamon), Jamaica (traditional sweetened hibiscus tea), Chicharrón (a puffed wheat wagon wheel served with tapatio and lime wedges), and Strawberry Paleta.

Additionally, Paradise Garden Grill is serving a special seasonal menu until the Festival ends on January 7, 2018.  Selections include a Trio of Street Tacos with carnitas, carne asada, and chicken, House-made Pozole, a Torta al Pastor served on a soft telera roll, and beverages including Sangria. Review: My Favorite Food in Disneyland

OK, for serious. I’m just going to say it. This is the BEST food in Disneyland. Believe me, Napa Rose is incredible, Steakhouse 55 slays, and Club 33 is amazing. I’ve been to all three many times. But if I only have one meal to eat in Disneyland, it’s going to be this one.

We all know that Disney restaurants can be maddeningly inconsistent, but this one? Always good. And these particular menu items are home-runs every single time. It’s a good day for a visit to Cafe Orleans in Disneyland, don’t you think?

Located in New Orleans Square, this casual Table Service restaurant serves consistently killer NOLA French Quarter-inspired fare with a little bonus panache.

New Orleans Square

New Orleans Square, for those who haven’t been, is so fun. It’s always Mardi Gras here, people! Big masks, oversized beads, and beautiful architectural details make this place a magnet for visitors to the Happiest Place on Earth.

And Cafe Orleans is right in the heart of things.

Atmosphere

Cafe Orleans is a pretty classy joint. Think stained glass and elegant decor (by theme park standards). It all starts outside. [Read more…]

Review: Haunted Mansion Dole Whip Special Occasion Cake at Napa Rose in Disneyland

If you follow our Disneyland correspondent Heather Sievers on her Instagram, you know she’s got a bit of a thing for the Haunted Mansion. (And hey, don’t we all :) ? )

Well, lucky for us, Heather’s friends and family treated her right for her recent birthday by ordering a totally epic specialty cake for her birthday dinner at Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Resort in Disneyland.

It’s the Haunted Mansion-themed cake, and It. Is. EVERYTHING.

Let’s just break this thing down for a minute. First is the perfectly eerie purple frosting with black Haunted Mansion wallpaper accents and Haunted Mansion-approved script, written by some of the greatest ghost writers the literary world has ever known, I presume…  [Read more…]

We are still having SO! MUCH! FUN! at Halloween Time in Disneyland! Some of the incredible (and creative!) eats include the Car-achnid Pot Pie and the Spoke-y Cone Macaron. But the Halloween treats in Disneyland aren’t only of the edible variety. You may have spotted the apparition that is the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket already.

But hold on to your HEADS ’til you see this next item, as we present: the Headless Horseman Straw and Clip.
