While strolling through Magic Kingdom today, we heard an overhead announcement about the new safety policies like we’ve grown used to in the reopened parks…but this time it was a little different.

Today, we heard a new voice with a British accent delivering the usual safety guidelines that have become customary in these announcements, but this time, there was yet ANOTHER update!
We took a trip to EPCOT to see what’s happenin’ around the park!

We’re SO CLOSE to the release of Mulan on Disney+! The live-action remake will arrive to the streaming service this Friday, September 4 on Premium Access.

Ahead of the film’s arrival, we’ve been able to catch a couple of sneak peeks on social media. Today, disneystyle on Instagram shared a behind-the-scenes look at the costume design in the film!
Due to the global health crisis, so many of us just can’t make it to Walt Disney World this year. And that makes us sad because we’d love to chow down on some of our favorite treats, including Cheshire Cat Tails, Mickey macarons, and Mickey caramel apples (YUM).

We have such a massive craving for so many of these goodies, but if we can’t get to Walt Disney World, that often means we just have to go without. 😢 Whatever will we do?
Who put the glad in “gladiator?” We absolutely love the movie Hercules, but the film hasn’t really received as much love as other Disney films, especially when it comes to merch.

However, we’ve started to see a renewed interest in Hercules lately. Maybe it’s because a live-action movie is in the works?. Since Disney announced the film, we’ve spotted a lot of great Hercules merchandise at Walt Disney World,
Disneyland, and online at shopDisney.
On September 4th, the live-action remake of Mulan will be available to stream on Disney+ for an additional charge of $29.99!

The film was originally scheduled for a March release before its premiere date was pushed back indefinitely — so we’re excited to finally have the chance to watch this movie, even if it’s not in the environment we originally expected!

Today, we learned that Gaston’s Tavern will be reopening this Friday, and that instantly had us dreaming about Cinnamon Rolls…but it looks like that’s not the ONLY exciting treat in our future. Is that a new cupcake on the menu?!

Test Track
While the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster looks like it’s going to be WAY more intense, Test Track still packs a punch and is one of the more popular rides in EPCOT. But, it seems like this attraction has been experiencing a few issues lately.
The 1980s were a time for perms and re-runs of Footloose, but Disney World was a RAD place to be with experiences we totally miss!

However, we’re not the only ones reminiscing about the good ole’ days back in the parks! Disney has been bringing back retro Mickey shirts, hats, and even Star Wars apparel. As we were heading around Downtown Disney today, though, we were thrown for a major loop when we found a huge throwback to a 1980s EPCOT (wait, what??).
