Hello from Walt Disney World!
It’s the end of January, so you would think the parks wouldn’t be very crowded, right? WRONG! We saw some big crowds this week in Disney World and we were very confused. But, did those crowds lead to long wait times around the parks? Let’s take a look!
Magic Kingdom
Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 84 minutes!
After that, we had Peter Pan’s Flight at 73 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 59 minutes, Space Mountain at 45 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 41 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 37 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 37 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 36 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 35 minutes, and Astro Orbiter at 31 minutes.
Next, we had “it’s a small world” at 28 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 26 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 24 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 22 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 20 minutes.
Then, we saw Tomorrowland Speedway at 19 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 17 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 16 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 15 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 15 minutes.
And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Country Bear Jamboree at 6 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 5 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 3 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat at 2 minutes. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 67 minutes, Test Track at 50 minutes, Soarin’ at 29 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 15 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 14 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 11 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 11 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes, Living with the Land at 10 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 9 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
