Each Disney World park is unique in its own way — Magic Kingdom has the most rides, EPCOT has its food festivals, Animal Kingdom has all of those amazing animals (duh), and Hollywood Studios has Star Wars. But, which park has the WORST wait times in all of Disney World?
You would think it might be Magic Kingdom since it has the most rides, but that doesn’t mean it has the most popular rides! So, let’s find out which park reigns supreme when it comes to lines by looking at the average wait times from this week in Disney World!
Magic Kingdom
Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 83 minutes!
After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 72 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 66 minutes, Splash Mountain at 54 minutes, Space Mountain at 52 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 43 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 40 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 37 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 35 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 34 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 34 minutes, and “it’s a small world” at 30 minutes.
Next, we had Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 24 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 24 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 24 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 23 minutes, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 23 minutes.
Then, we saw Mad Tea Party at 16 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 16 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 15 minutes.
And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 3 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 2 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat at 1 minute. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 78 minutes.
Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 74 minutes, Test Track at 61 minutes, Soarin’ at 33 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 23 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 19 minutes, Living with the Land at 15 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 11 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 10 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 10 minutes.
Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 122 minutes.
After that, we had Tower of Terror at 106 minutes, Slinky Dog Dash at 93 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 65 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 64 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 57 minutes, and Toy Story Mania at 55 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 34 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 21 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 16 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 12 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 89 minutes.
Then, we had Kilimanjaro Safaris at 65 minutes, Na’vi River Journey at 58 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 29 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 25 minutes.
Following behind was Triceratop Spin at 13 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 11 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
That’s your look at the average wait times around Walt Disney World this week! As you can see, Hollywood Studios has 3 rides with higher wait times than any of the rides in the other parks, so we would say they have the worst lines in Disney World! Stay tuned to DFB more Disney news and updates.
