Disney California Adventure has gone through quite a transformation in recent years with the addition of Marvel’s Avengers Campus!

Welcome to Avengers Campus!

It officially opened in June 2021 and has been entertaining Disney and Marvel fans alike ever since. From incredibly themed attractions and dining locations to some of the coolest Marvel characters, Avengers Campus has it all. We recently checked out a NEW snack over at Terran Treats in Avengers Campus, but was it as out-of-this-world as we were hoping it would be? Let’s find out! 

Terran Treats is a quick-service location in Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus that serves up churro spirals and cosmic orbs (cream puffs).

We recently stopped by to check out their seasonal offering, the Raspberry Spiral Ration!

Churro and Orb Offerings

This is a yellow spiral churro that is described as being “like a Terran raspberry churro.”

Sweet Spiral Ration

Unfortunatly, while the churro looked good, it lacked in the flavor department. It was served REALLY hot, almost too hot. And it was a little over-cooked in our opinion.

It was really crunchy, but not in a good way. With a churro, you certainly want some crunch on the outside, but then you want that sweet, softer, tasty goodness on the inside. Unfortunately, this one was mostly just CRUNCH.

And there was hardly any raspberry flavor. 

Not Quite What We Expected

All in all, it wasn’t really a “win” for us and isn’t something we’d get again. Maybe we got a bad batch though, you never know. But it won’t be on our must-get list. If you want to try it, head on over to Terran Treats!
