You know what can RUIN a Disney vacation when you don’t see it coming? An unexpected refurbishment!
It’s always a bummer to arrive in Disney World or Disneyland Resort only to find out that your favorite ride or attraction is closed for extended maintenance. Thankfully, you can check ahead of your trip online to see which attractions will be unavailable. But as an extra precaution, we’re here to warn you about two upcoming closures!
Space Mountain has been closed temporarily in Disneyland for a little while to get a refurbishment. This is one of the park’s most popular rides, so if you’re planning on visiting soon, make sure to put this update on your radar.
The ride was previously scheduled to reopen on October 26th, but that date has now been pushed back to October 27th. If you were hoping to ride on the 27th, you may need to rearrange your plans.
The other update that Disneyland Resort visitors need to know about is a closure for the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. This walkthrough attraction in California Adventure will be closed starting November 1st, and there’s currently no reopening date listed.
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail typically closes shortly around that time to get a holiday makeover, so it’s likely that we could see it reopen on or around November 10th when the holiday festivities begin. We’ll keep you updated if we get official details.
