It’s time to start preparing for the holiday season. You’ll want to know everything about the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Jollywood Nights, as well as details about all the holiday snacks available in the parks. You’ll also want to know when the parks open and close so you can plan each day out carefully — well, we’ve got you covered on that!
Disney World has released its park hours through the end of December, so pay attention if you’ll be visiting soon!
Magic Kingdom
October
On October 22nd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 31st, Magic Kingdom will be open at 8AM. Note that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will have Magic Kingdom closing at 6PM on October 22nd, 26th, 27th, 29th and 31st. Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 11PM on October 23rd and from 9AM to 10PM on all other days in October.

November
In November, Magic Kingdom is open from 8AM to 6PM on November 1st, 9th, and 10th; from 9AM to 6PM on November 13th, 14th, 16th, and 17th, and then from 9AM to 10PM on November 2nd and November 5th. The park is open from 9AM to midnight on November 3rd and 11th. The hours are 8AM to 11PM on November 4th and 7th. The hours are 9AM to 11PM on November 6th, and from 9AM to 9PM on November 12th, 15th, and 18th.

Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 6PM on November 19th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 28th, and 30th. Hours are from 9AM to 9PM on November 20th, 23rd through 25th, 27th and 29th.

December
Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 6PM on December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, and 15th.

The park is open from 9AM to 9PM on all other days in December, except on December 30th and 31st when it’s open from 9AM to midnight.

EPCOT
October
In October, EPCOT is open every day from 9AM to 9PM. Extended Evening Hours are on October 23rd and 30th from 9PM to 11PM.

EPCOT’s hours in November are from 9AM to 9PM every day…

…except on November 24th-30th. Extended Evening Hours are on November 2nd, 6th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 27th and 30th until 11:30PM.

EPCOT hours are from 9AM to 9:30PM on December 1st through December 30th.

Hours are from 9AM to midnight on December 31st. Extended evening hours are on December 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, and 25th.

H0llywood Studios is open from 9AM to 9PM through the rest of October. Extended Evening Hours are on October 25th from 9PM to 11PM.

Hollywood Studios is open from 9AM to 9PM on November 1st through November 9th, 12th through 17th, and 19th through 30th.

Few mistakes in this one y’all. Just at a glance…Several more dates in the second half of December that MK closes at 6. Also, November 31st does not exist. 😉
So is it not expected to be as busy this year for Christmas since they are open 2-3 hours longer in November vs in December over Christmas?? We’ve had our tickets for nearly a year and I was expecting hours similar to last year’s where they opened at like 8am and closed at 11pm with extended hours staying open until 1am. I’m gonna be upset if it’s as intense as Christmas usually is but the hours are less than days in October and November since Christmas is their absolute busiest time of year 😢 especially for what it costs our family of 6 to go during Christmas! If attendance increases more will they change the hours as more people make their reservations?
Do we know why Hollywood Studios is closing at 7pm on Dec 10th??
Hi Nicole! We haven’t heard anything, but they closed early in October for a park-wide buyout so it could be something like that.
